Does experience pay?

It takes coaches like Roy, Pitino and others 4-5 years to build these teams... it takes Cal a few months to build a contender.

Having some experience I think makes the season easier, you have vets who can show the new studs the do's and don't during practice. Plus they have been there done that on a higher level than the freshmen who are learning the college game. Personally I think it will be hard to win a championship with nothing but freshmen.

Fair and true enough, but when/how often are we playing only freshman? One year with a hurt sophomore WCS and erratic Poythress? We will probably always inevitably have the returning sophomores Ulis/Briscoe and upper classmen Derek Willis of the world even inspite of when some of them may transfer out or enter draft too early.

Experience has nothing to do with these games.
