Hence why Tyler Ulis needs some rest eventually.OU has tailed down some as the season has progressed. Several players playing too many minutes. Fingers crossed WVU can keep KU from winning yet another title.

Both on missed FT's remember the 1st game they had a FT attempt with 2 seconds left tied and missed causing all the OT's.OU choked away two games against KU now.
I'd take OU in a heartbeat too. They will be really worn out by the time we'd meet themOklahoma choked this away. Not impressed. Would love -- LOVE -- to get in the same region with either of these teams as the 1 seed.
Agree. Totally agree. Should have sat the last five minutes today.Hence why Tyler Ulis needs some rest eventually.
Kansas RPI raised from 4 to 1I guess I'm going to have to pull for KU just because it will help our RPI.
Are there any 3 loss teams left?
Villanova, Maryland, SMU

90% of the BS calls in this game went against KU give me a break.
Would still like Kansas to be our 1 or 2 seed that would be a dream come true. But it's looking like Kansas is going to win the B12 which is their national title so they will more than likely have another first week flameout.I'd take OU in a heartbeat too. They will be really worn out by the time we'd meet them
I honestly don't see how it's much different than last year's team.Maybe but this team is a lot different than past teams so we will see.
It was the forearm not a charge you understand that right
Not saying you guys can't make a run. But I don't think this year's team is vastly improved over last year's, if any.Maybe but this team is a lot different than past teams so we will see.

Plus it's hard to defend free throw shooters.Plus the field is way lower so anything can happen.
Hield charge was a joke. But KU ref, Mark Whitehead took care of you. You guys rested Higgins today?
Wow. Anyone who thinks KU got the benefit of the doubt from the refs either didn't watch the game or knows nothing about the sport. That said, the game wasn't decided by the refs (and very rarely is) so arguing them is a whiners exercise. The game was decided because the two teams went on varying streaks and KU just happened to get hot at the very end when OU went cold. Well played, enjoyable game and I hated seeing Hield miss his last FT attempt, he's a class act and deserved to not be the one with the miss.
So a KU fan doesn't agree that his/her team gets the benefit of doubt from refs?!?!Wow. Did you watch the game and did you think KU was getting the benefit of the calls? When OU had the ball go out on them but it was given to OU what was that? How about when Bilas said the 4th foul against Mason was BS? Or even his fifth which was BS? Or the no call when Traylor went up for a put back and was fouled, also something Bilas called out as a bad call against KU. When KU was past half court on a fast break and the refs stopped the play for no good reason, was that to KU's benefit? KU had fewer free throws and more fouls with their starting point guard fouling out, was that part of the refs plan?
I know it's easier to claim a team lost because it was the refs but in no logical universe could someone have watched that game and thought KU got more benefits than OU (and again, had KU lost it would not have been because of the refs but because OU was hot and KU was not for most the second half).

The Big 12 acknowledged Tuesday afternoon that errors were made late in regulation of Monday’s Kansas-Iowa State game in Ames. Here’s the statement:
“The Big 12 Conference acknowledges that officiating errors were made at the end of regulation during last night's Kansas at Iowa State men's basketball game. The plays have been reviewed and appropriate measures will be taken by the Coordinator of Men's Basketball Officials to adjust the number of future assignments for the two officials involved in conjunction with Conference policies.”
What’s not made specific is which two officials — Mark Whitehead, Bert Smith and Tom O’Neill were the trio — were involved and which calls were errors. Two stood out: a foul called on KU’s Kevin Young that replays showed should’ve been called on Jeff Withey, which would’ve been Withey’s fifth foul; and a no-call on an Elijah Johnson drive w

Yeah refs do not help. The one critical call in this game was the call on Hield.
So what does the ISU game have to do with the OU/KU game? And you think there was only one critical call and it went against OU? Seriously? So Mason fouling out wasn't potentially critical (and doing so in a way that gave OU a free point)? So KU having a likely 2 or 3 points due to fast break advantage wasn't potentially critical? With 5 minutes left and KU trying to turn the momentum, which could have happened had the proper out of bounds call been made - that wasn't a factor? Bilas had far more complaints about calls against KU than OU. The only reason they didn't prove critical is because Hield missed a free throw to tie it up and KU made just enough of theirs. Had OU won there were far more plays that would have been "critical" calls going against KU than vice versa.
Whitehead called the game. He called our game too. We are 15 points better now than 2 weeks ago. We play you again you will get curb stomped. Whitehead and Higgins will be needed.
Had a 6 pt lead at home with momentum and just gave it away. Didn't guard the hottest player on the court over and over again. I swear I think the fix is in every year with the conference. Just pathetic.
