And coordinator in charge.Doesn’t matter who is the QB behind this ass Oline
Right. They look as if they have no QBs, no RBs, no WRs, no TEs but until they get the OL fixed it's hard to judge everything else. I just wonder what these coaches have been doing lo these many months because the OL looks much, much worse than at anytime since John Schlarman's passing. The effort, focus, prep was beyond pathetic today. Time for coaches/players to have a come to Jesus meeting.Doesn’t matter who is the QB behind this ass Oline
💯💯💯For sure the Oline has to play better....but that was an awful showing by Brock.
Didn't step up in pocket one time....just runs back into edge rusher vs. ever stepping up. Brock stumbles over his own feet multiple times dropping back, etc...just abysmal play from Brock and Bush looks like a bush league tutor.
This. SC rushed THREE and they all got through in less than a second it seemed. No QB is gonna be able to handle that. Not consistently.I do, it’s the O line that’s a disaster. Not really saying at this point Brock is the answer, but behind this trash O Line, I don’t see any QB doing much.
I would assume that Wimsatt is better, that's why.And why play Wimsatt over Beau?
More mobile and with UK's putrid OL you better be able to run.And why play Wimsatt over Beau?
He looked slow yesterday. I knew Southern Miss was a pretty soft opponent, but even then, I think I underestimated how slow their front 7 must be compared to what we’ll see in the SEC, because his effectiveness scrambling was dramatically less yesterday. Just another reason to be concerned about what we saw during that disaster.I did not get to see the game. I have DirectTV. Does BV have enough quickness to be effective when scrambling ?? I'm asking because it seems like the general consensus now is that he will rarely have enough time to throw out of the pocket.
It's impossible to judge anything, really, about Brock about Hamdan, anything other than the putrid o line play.Doesn’t matter who is the QB behind this ass Oline
"We're just getting started bro."I don't feel good about a damn thing related to Kentucky football right now.
Yeah we've literally developed zero quarterbacks in a dozen years. I know development is becoming a thing of the past everywhere in the NIL/transfer era but even before that, Stoops and his staff have shown no capability of it.There hasn't been a good QB room since Stoops has been here...
I don't care who you are ... that's pretty damn funny !! 😎"We're just getting started bro."
Yes and 1st in SEC play but still ..Was this only his second game as a starter?
That's the key. It's impossible to judge anything, really, about Brock about Hamdan, anything other than the putrid o line play.
You're right. UK leads the SEC in "look out" blocks. That's when an OLineman turns and hollers: "Look out!!" seconds before the back is buried by an onrushing DLineman. That's the key.
He ran hard in the first game, hurt his shoulder and this game just gave himself up. There were a couple of times he could have kept the ball and got a first down.I did not get to see the game. I have DirectTV. Does BV have enough quickness to be effective when scrambling ?? I'm asking because it seems like the general consensus now is that he will rarely have enough time to throw out of the pocket.
Well yeah, actually you can. When you run a jet sweep on 2nd and 1 for a loss of 7, that’s the coordinator. Continuously dropping BV into a twenty step drop without and o-line is the OC. Failing to adjust to any of it is the OC. This ain’t the old WAC or MWC where you can sit back and throw bombs all day where your only concern is a 6’4 230 lb mormon DE who runs a 4.8 40It's impossible to judge anything, really, about Brock about Hamdan, anything other than the putrid o line play.
Doesn’t matter who is the QB behind this ass Oline
You could put Tom Brady at QB, with Bo Jackson as his tailback & with Jerry Rice & Randy Moss as the receivers and they ain't scoring with this pathetic, embarrassing excuse of an offensive line.I do, it’s the O line that’s a disaster. Not really saying at this point Brock is the answer, but behind this trash O Line, I don’t see any QB doing much.
