Did this game expose Bradshaw's importance?

Meh idk. I think this was much too physical of a game for him. He gets pushed around a lot down low. Maybe it did hurt us, maybe not. I don’t see him having anymore affect on the game than Ugo did, personally.

Hate to say it but he is fouling, he's either not listening to whats being taught or he's just running up to a guy with his arms at an angle and is surprised when they call a foul. He's very important to the team so he should be hearing from the bench don't do that!

Can’t remember if it was his 3rd or 4th foul but you’re spot on. It was so dumb. He was in okay guarding position with his arms up and inexplicably lowered both arms into the offensive player (you’re 7’1” playa, just keep your hands straight up) and then looked at the official like “what did I do?!?.” If you don’t know what you did, you don’t belong on the court at this level yet.

As many have said, we missed Adou more than anyone. He might be our most valuable player. We don’t have another guy like him. Sure wish we could get him back!
CC, I don't know about MVP, but I think Thiero is a noticeably better option than Edwards and Burks at any position. And that doesn't mean I think those guys are bad players - of course they're not. Both are going to be really good players eventually I believe. I'm more excited about Burks and his development because I'm assuming he's the one that will be back to help Thiero next season.

But this season Mitchell needs help. He's playing way too many minutes, and Thiero is the best PF substitute. Thiero is also a better SF substitute than either Edwards or Burks - although I think UK is usually best with one of the Guards at SF.

Onyenso played well but losing Bradshaw killed us
I don't think Ugo played all that great. Did ok, not a rim protector he should be and i know he had 4 blocks. His reaction seems slow to me. Not much anticipation.

When someone lowers their arms into someone, they're afraid of contact. Period.

Bradshaw would be great if he could play defense and not get abused down low. His ability to hit the 3 spaces the floor for our guards. But alas.
what ability to hit the 3????
How many has he made this year 2, 3 maybe 4?
Come on .........he may think he is the next Kevin Durant, but he is nothing near that.
He needs to show some hustle, some fight to block shots & rebound, not shy away from contact

Bradshaw is what he is. Atleast for this year. He’s not gonna make a jump unless he returns and he’s obviously not going to.
UGO is another guy that should be a three year player. He has the strength but not the footwork. If you could combine the two you’d have a veteran starter.
And it’s simply too late now for Z. The ncaa made sure to screw us out of that one. Even if he does return, he’s not going to be some huge difference maker but it would be nice to have an extra body
disagree, if Z would ever be allowed to play, I think he takes time from both Bradshaw & Ugo.
He can't be any worse of a shooter than either and came a long way to play for UK. I would think
that he would play harder than both as well

his reaction to block shots are slow. He doesn't have the timing to be a good shot blocker

Onyenso might’ve been the most important player in that game tbh. Can replace any guard but can’t replace 7’2

I think many are missing the point. The modern game is all about spacing. Bradshaw opens things up for the guards.

Pretty sure that was his 4th foul. And he fouled. 25 ft from the basket. Just a dumb play.

With the underwhelming play of Bradshaw and Edwards, and the pleasant surprise of how good Dillingham and Reed are. I have to wonder what sort of drugs those who rate High school prospects are on.

Still think we were playing our best basketball before either Bradshaw or Ugo returned. Last several games cal has been keeping one or the other on the floor at all times.
