Did not take Satt long to try to stick it to Louisville

Something tells me that Louisvilles recent recruiting success from being dead was Louisville telling Addidas that this would be Satt's last year and they were bringing in Brohm. Makes a lot more sense that these highly ranked recruits would pick Louisville knowing Brohm was coming when none of them would touch Louisville before. Shitty way to go behind Satt's back but hey I guess win at all costs lol

Bet they lose several :) , but not sure that dork Satterfield gets any of them. Outside the Louisville bubble Brohm is not the god some people make him out to be - and is a bad fit for a couple of their more important recruits.

Nonsense. The days of scheduling 3 mid major cupcakes is what is coming to an end. With the expanded playoff, there will be pressure for everyone to beef up their nonconference schedule with more marquee power 5 matchups.
Actually wouldn’t it be the exact opposite. 12 teams means it will be easier to get in playoff over 4 teams. Any team that starts off around 15 will get in playoff if they win their games. Look at UC getting in last year with their schedule.

Probably going to lose a few early commits because that is just what happens. But I'm curious about what recruits you think are "bad fits" for UofL under Brohm? (I'm talking FB skills, not "distance from home".) I'm not going to argue with you; just curious.

Peace

Money talks.. If they committed to UL bc of $$ no reason to jump ship now. I think losing Satterfield at this point was best for UL, better than firing him clearly. You get some buyout money, NIL rolls on with recruits and everyone is happy. I seriously doubt any of your west coast guys or your RB pledged for UL based on Satterfield. If anything they should be glad he is gone and sign right after Brohm's ink is dry.

There will be no pressure for SEC teams to beef up their schedule: we were ranked 7th mid-season, having beaten nobodies and an SEC team or two.

Take care of business in the SEC and you get ranked 12th or above.

No?

What OOC win propelled Georgia, Tennessee or Bama to the Top 12 this season?

Bama beat Texas, Georgia beat Oregon, and Tennessee beat Pitt. But given their conference wins, these didn’t earn them their rankings.

Look at this douchebag popping back up like an unflushable turd. Brohm got you wet? 😅

Russ Heltman of All Bearcats on FanNation reports that UC has offered four-star Louisville commit safety Jayden Davis of Collins Hill GA
Look for Satt to try and poach more of L recruits
Satt did offer the kid and he tweeted about the offer and then tweeted Louisville stuff 20 minutes later.

Absolutely. There will be 2 loss teams in the 12 man and a possibly a 3 loss team occasionally. A 1 loss team is likely in, but if you are 1 of the 5-6 2 loss teams trying to grab a spot I think you going to have to play a top 10 SOS schedule.

Clarkson - Undersized dual threat QB with so-so accuracy is not what Brohm builds his offenses around.

Owens - I know Purdue ran more this year, but Brohm has never had a 1,000 yard rusher at Purdue and rarely does his top back get more than 500-600 yards on the year. Not the place to go as an RB if you want to play in the NFL.

I still disagree. How many SEC teams have been out of the final 12 in the modern era with 2 losses?

Heck 2 loss LSU was supposed to be a lock for the 4 team playoff.

I agree with the other poster, why on earth would anyone beef up their schedule. It’s like big ten in basketball. Start off highly ranked, play no one, then conference starts and you play each other so stay rated high.

Nah, there will be expanded pressure to not lose...

So cupcakes it is.

Owens is a decommit now
