Did Jay Williams just say that

Oh no, a sports analyst has a different opinion than someone else. He must be stupid. Let's call him stupid, because he's a tool for not exclusively saying things we agree with.
he was not just expressing a different opinion...He was bashing the team, basically saying the team is bad. This is not a bad team. UK did not just lose a home game to Gardner-Webb. They may not be a top 10 team. That doesn't make them piss poor.

I don't think he was saying KU is the best team because they were beating Holy Cross. How is it a double standard and hating? I don't really get that. Because he didn't pick UK? I'm a true blue through and through and I can realistically look that teams around the country with an unbiased opinion. With that said, I think KU is the best team at this moment. Doesn't mean they will or won't be later but as far as right now, I would have to agree with him. With the addition of Diallo down low and their 3 pt shooting, they're looking pretty damn good. You have no idea how much that pains me to say but I think it's the truth right now. Does that mean I'm hating? Holy Cross didn't have a damn thing to do with why he made that statement. There are alot of "experts" who feel the same way, not just Williams. Just don't get why that is a double standard.

My statement had to do with them ripping UK at halftime for giving up 36 points and only up 14 points at half to a 7-2 E. Kentucky team that supposedly we should beat by 70 points, all while Jay stated Kansas was doing what they were supposed to be doing by laying it on Holy Cross in the first half... Only problem was that were only up 17 points and had given up 33 points to a far less superior team than we played.. How does that make sense if it's not him trying to push an agenda???

Also, there was no mention of KU letting a 20 pt lead get down to 6 pts at 52-46 about 4 minutes into the 2nd half. However, it happens to us against a better team and we think the sky is falling while we have some on here saying KU is the best team at the moment..

Right now UNC, Mich St, Maryland, and Kansas are better than us but this is December. These 4 aren't guaranteed of anything because as we all know the Tournament is about matchups and they could be upset. So don't pay any attention to these people. Kentucky will be that team that no one will pick to do anything and that's fine. We'll see come march........GO CATS!

I don't say that KU is the best at the moment based off just 1 game. Just like I don't say that any team is struggling after just 1 game. Also, I think he was exaggerating when he said 70 points. If he wasn't, then he really is an idiot. I'm not saying I like Williams because I think he goes completely overboard and jumps to conclusion but I'm not going to hate on him just because he thinks someone other than UK is the best team. I'm sure he based that opinion on alot of things, not just the game last night with Holy Cross.

You know he's coming back, right?

Yes, and obviously why I posted that he's out for 4 to 6 weeks since the season doesn't end in January, which would be 4 to 6 weeks from now..

You wrote "right now". So based on your own statement, you think that Vandy is better than Kentucky right now, without their second best player and right after they lost to a worse team than UCLA?

Doesn't matter but it's not clear UCLA is better than Dayton
