Diallo projected lottery pick.

How has he moved up so much? Nobody has seen him play.. Best of luck to him, but it seems really crazy in what is considered a pretty loaded draft year.

You don't mean this one from an hour ago that DOES NOT have him in the first round at all? http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...redictions-for-landing-spots-of-top-prospects

Maybe there are lots of Bleacher Report mock drafts. The one I've linked is the only one I can find from today.

I hope the poor kid's not stupid enough to believe he's a lottery pick. If he is desperate to go, and fight his way out of the D league after being drafted in the second round, good luck to him.

But he has zero chance to be a lottery pick.

It makes sense,he's been sitting on the bleachers for damn near a year he should be really good at it.

Saw it on ksr bro. Don't shoot the messenger.

No more "None and Dones" This kid cost UK some dollars for him to come in and go to school, meals, room, best trainers, best strength and conditioning coaches, best assistant coaches working hands on with him everyday at practice. A Hall of Fame coach instructing him. Course last but not least, going against the 2 best guards in all of college basketball day in and day out. So when I see people say it didnt cost UK anything as you can see it cost them plenty in a lot of ways.

This is partly KSR's fault.

It's SBNation, not Bleacher Report. Which makes it even more a "some random dude's wild-ass guess" thing.

Diallo might be gone. As the NBA moves more and more to drafting on potential, there's more willingness to gamble on unproven entities. Thon Maker's successful rookie year and very bright future only helps someone like Diallo.

But 10? We're talking about a kid who's barely rated that high in his recruiting class. And we're talking about a kid who isn't 7 feet tall, isn't an oversized PG, and has major questions about his shooting.

No way I can see him at 10 without him proving himself in college at least a little bit.

Anyone can write for B/R. I was asked to do so a few years back when it was just taking off, and I'm sure there are others here who got that offer.

I'm sure there are multiple people coming up with mock drafts.. some of these people wouldn't even be in the top half of our forums. Take it with a grain of salt.

if its sbnation...my guess its a duke/unc fan putting it out there to mess with things after losing knox to us.

I don't see that happening. Maybe late ,late first round with team taking best athlete available or early 2nd round. No one has seen him play against higher level competition unless they saw some UK practices. And not playing 5 on 5 guess they still won't see him play.

Who cares if Diallo spent a semester here? If he comes back, great; if he leaves, oh well. If anything, Cal can use this as a recruiting pitch: you don't have to play very much in order for us to prepare you for the NBA.

It helps when you have a lot of similar guys, like Knox, Vanderbilt and Washington. If you can start getting players like Washington or Knox to sacrifice minutes because they believe just being here is the best preparation for the NBA, then you can assemble some crazy teams with the way Cal can recruit.

Whatever Diallo does is a positive for UK, in my opinion.

Not just lottery, but that guy actually has him going 10th. No serious person could think that. Either trolling or seriously out of the loop.

If ever there was a case for the NBA changing the rule to "one year playing SOMEWHERE after high school". It's also a slap in the face to players who are NBA worthy (or close to it) busting their tails off only for some kid hiding from scrutiny to get drafted.

Looked at this guy's predictions for some of this year's recruits. He picked Knox to Duke (wrong), McCoy to Oregon (wrong), has has Duval going to Arizona (um, yeah), Bowen to Florida State, and Bamba to UK. Hope he's finally right on that one.

Me either. Not a cat in my eyes. Was barely associated with the university.
hell all i said was Cal not playing him when we had him made no sense and brianpoe and other trolls tried to troll and it actually made them angry, what they were banking on was him coming back but then turned around and said it would anger him if he left lol. Im not mad at all i just wanted him to play while we had him lol.
