Wow, he just missed an impressive dunk attempt completely. Here's my question how the hell does self do it? He has managed to make Diallo and bragg(unless he's injured) completely irrelevant. Who else has two 5 star guys who literally don't play at all? Will Diallo come back, or like the experts say will declare for the draft like skal is supposed to do? On a side note since Ellis may run for president after his 25 year at Kansas he will be eligible to do so. I just don't see why bigs or any player with some talent will go there to be held back

Diallo has been for the most part terrible. Has very little understanding of the game. Is always out of position on offense and defense, thinks he can block EVERY shot which leads to either a foul or any easy put back by his man, and whenever he gets extended minutes he starts being a black hole on offense trying to score over 3 guys and take guarded 18 footers. For every positive play he makes he makes 3-5 negative plays. Watch multiple full games and you'll see why he sits.

Bragg on the other hand should be the 1st big off the bench. He should play above Traylor but Self has a love affair with Traylor. Bragg should get 15 minutes a game.

I have no reason not to believe you. I've only seen Kansas play 1 time this year. I'm sure you can guess which game. Skal was overrated too. Just a crazy class. I think Jamal Murray will end up being the 2nd best overall player in this class behind Simmons.

If I'm projected and trying to go OAD I'd avoid Self like the plague.

If I'm looking like a 3-4 year big man I'd go play for Self. His track record with 3-4 year bigs is pretty good.

This was just an observation I made while watching this game among others thus far of Kansas this year.Kansas may not be our biggest rival but they are a rival. That being said, we love to bash on Louisville , Indiana, or duke yet We have to go go their boards to talk about it? Had they not been playing while I made the observation ,I would of never brought it up, just curious as to what others may say

What you said is exactly what I stated here all last spring prior to Diallo committing to you all and Bragg as well.

Watched both in HS and saw really nothing out of Diallo except he flourishes in an up and down game. When the team ran on fast breaks he was looking pretty good in that type of game. In the half court game he was non existent. I said he needed to go to a school who liked to run. He would have been much better at UL or UNC than UK or KU.
Bragg is extremely skilled and is a very nice passer from the permiter. And can rebound playing 10-15 ft from the goal, before you know it he would have 20 pts from buckets here and their. Not a dominent scorer but just a solid guy who is a good teammate and is good about getting everyone involved.

I looked at your all's roster and argued wih several KU posters that neither kid will play much because your roster is stacked with bigs and Self has never been big on playing freshmen. It's rare for him to play freshmen big minutes to play through their mistakes unless he is forced too.

Bill has more options. Lucas has had two double double games in a row. Ellis is playing good ball. Traylor grabs rebounds and 50/50 balls. The freshmen are coming off the bench and playing a few minutes.

You sure you want to talk smack to the team that stomped you 3 out of the last 4 times and the 4th time was an OT game that was handed to KU by the officials by way of FT's? KU doesnt get home games in the tournament. You better hope we get knocked out before you have to face us.

Awesome first post on rafters! Glad your here, that's impressive and all but Kansas has invented new ways to choke. Had Memphis not handed you the title in 2008 you would still be lacking a championship since 1988. I'm not sold that self knows what he's doing. UL is not on a "roll", and KU is not a rival. What's our head to head record again? Tournament stats? Don't rely off one home game and then come at us like you're an equal.

UK still has a winning record at AFH.

Either you've never been to peegs, the UL scout site, or the Kansas scout site, or you're trolling here. Can't tell which, but the fact that you disallow views on your profile gives me a clue.
