Cal should tell him to make a bunch of shots in the games while the media is watching to continue the narrative. A good narrative needs momentum."Calipari indicated he told Diallo to show up early and hang around late, both to improve and, knowing the media was present, to begin a narrative."

Isn't he a sophomore?Diallo won't become one of the best outside shooters in the country during his freshman season at Kentucky, but the good news is, Kentucky doesn't need him to be. The kid can improve his shooting enough to become known as average instead of below average. If the kid is willing to put in the time and work in the gym, his shooting will start to show some improvement.
He's half a freshman. I think.Isn't he a sophomore?
Cal wants him to improve a lot so he doesnt have to start Baker over him. Baker is very good and everyone knows it..And like some of you jokers on this site keep saying and truly think its funny, you cannot have too many shooters. It is the big neutralizer.
He's a freshman by blood but he was born in his sophomore year. He's half a freshman. I think.
I think Diallo is taking Briscoe's spot in the offense. All he has to do is shoot it better than Briscoe. That shouldn't be too difficult.
With Green, Knox, and Washington or Gabriel, he will have three good to decent shooters on the floor with him most of the time.
That should take some of the pressure off of him.
That really concerns me. If he is really a sophomore he will only have three years of eligibility left unless he was a redshirt.Isn't he a sophomore?
He'll surprise some as far as 3pt shooting goes. He's worked and worked all summer and before on his shot. He knows that's his weakness. He's got a good looking stroke. I doubt he shoots under 35% from 3. We have 2-3 other guys who should be around 40%. Knox and Green, PJ probably around 38%. Same with Gabriel if he can shoot it more consistently. He shot great at times last year. Shai and Baker could and should be around 40% off the bench too.
I think they call that trans-year now. At some point in the future, he may need year reassignment surgery so that he can match his freshman mind with his sophomore body. He's a freshman by blood but he was born in his sophomore year.
I just hope he can hit around 30 %He'll surprise some as far as 3pt shooting goes. He's worked and worked all summer and before on his shot. He knows that's his weakness. Hopefully Diallo can stay away from the baselineDiallo's playstyle doesn't resemble Briscoe's in any way other than a reputation for bad shooting. Briscoe was crafty and played below the rim. Diallo plays above the rim, posts up to beat smaller defenders, and races in the open court. You won't see any Isaiah Briscoe in Diallo.

By rule his eligibility began when he enrolled at beginning of 2nd semester. He will be eligible through 1st semester of his fourth year of play or 5 years after HS graduation. Unless, of course, he becomes a professional basketball player.
He is leaving after this yr.That really concerns me. If he is really a sophomore he will only have three years of eligibility left unless he was a redshirt.
I know that. Can't you see the sarcasm in what I said. What does it matter if he is a freshman or sophomore because he will be here only one year anyways. He is leaving after this yr.
