We (or at least some of the posters) were dogging Walker for his lack of effort this season. It did look like he (and a lot of the team) threw in the towel after the first 3-4 games. Now, at the Shrine Game, it comes out that he was dealing with a back injury. Without knowing all of the details, it certainly now appears that he played through an injury when he could have just shut down for the season, knowing he was a likely high draft pick.
