If this is in fact accurate then Barnhart needs to be forced to explain his decision BEFORE introducing Mark Pope as the new HC. Again, I love Mark Pope and he may one day be ready for the UK job but, he isn't right now. The leap from BYU to UK is too great. And even though BYU now plays in the Big 12, UK plays at another level with OOC foes like Dook, UNCheat, UofL and others. Expectations are too high here for a guy who has yet to win a NCAA-T game.

I don't hate the hire, but if he went rogue, I think it's fireable. If everyone backed him, I'm ok(ish) with it.
