The common response when we lose a player to the portal, " He sucked anyway". Not sure Chip ever really got a chance to show what he could or couldn't do here. The running back room is pretty irrelevant anyway until we get an SEC caliber line in here. I don't see that happening next year.

A huge chunk of what the portal is are guys not getting enough run where they’re at. Not necessarily suck , but not playing as much or well as they’d like . Another big chunk are lighter recruited guys that have blown up at lesser schools , and want schools to bid on them . Many are getting virtually no NIL in lesser conferences

Take the money we paid him and put it toward the O-Line and an Edge rusher!!!

He was another in a long line of OSU players that came in here hyped up, got injured and gave us very little or nothing at all.

RB’s are a dime a dozen, use the young guys and bring in a guy that can catch it out of the backfield and put ALL of the money toward those positions I mention above.

So...Wilcox, Patterson and Mizell. Is that it? 3 RBs is not sufficient as we saw this year. Trayanum hardly played this year due to injury. Is another team really going to spend significant $$ on luring him? Surely, at least at this moment, he had to see himself at RB1 or RB1a. Without the promise of big NIL money, why move on? I would've expected him to get 1/3 or more of the carries next year assuming he stayed healthy. He came out of fall camp as RB1 so the staff must have liked him.

Why am I not surprised he's leaving it seemed like when he was ready to come back they didn't use him like they should've anyway.

Once he got healthy he was behind Wilcox. He knew he wasn’t RB1. This was almost a guarantee after he got hurt. It was said then he was gonna get his med RS and transfer

MOST of his yards cam against Murray State, and one big run v/s Louisville in the 4th quarter when they had back ups in. Did Nathan against quality defenses, won't miss him one bit. Wilcox is the man, just focus on the little things, and tie your shoes young man.
