Dakich Tweet

The NCAA set a precedent with the Cam Newton case. If they can't prove Bowen new they pretty much have to let him play. That was the issue with Newton. NCAA could never actually prove he knew anything, just his father. From what we know, NCAA has never actually provided any evidence that Bowen knew anything.
Chris Mills probably didn’t know his dad was supposed to get $1000 in that Emory envelope either. It didn’t help in that case. He also got to transfer and play at Arizona

I understand the urge to smack Dakich. And maybe he really doesn't know what he's talking about. But that tweet is just dumb. UofL will find out, per its AD, about an hour before everyone else finds out what the NCAA verdict is. So the UofL board hasn't heard anything yet.....and that is supposed to necessarily mean Dakich lied when he said he has a source and knows the answer? Does not compute. It's not like the NCAA won't make up its mind until the day it releases the decision. They decided long ago. Dakich says he knows what they decided. Just because it hasn't been communicated yet means nothing as far as his source/credibility......

Irrelevant.

Not only Is it irrelevant, the way they handled it makes them look worse.

Thee NCAA knows they didn't fire them after hookergate. Then when Pitino was caught red handed buying players with adidas money, Jurich STILL wasn't going to fire him. And hell the only reason Jurich was fired was for not firing Pitino. Had he done that he'd STILL be in control. And they didn't clean house, I hate to tell the fans that feel some sort of spiritual hard on from watching Padgett play "coach of the year" for the children, but he was kept on to SALVAGE the team. He is PART of the Pitino regime. It would be like one of Hitler's officers becoming the Chancellor of Germany after WW2

People just don't think through these things. It's so ridiculous even our own fans do it.

Looks like another week without a release. Can't imagine what they would be waiting on.
Maybe with the Michigan St mess bubbling, the NCAA doesn't want to flood the airwaves with more bad news (for UL anyway).
If Dakich was correct, the decision was made two weeks ago.
