Hank Williams senior used it often.
Yeah 6-3 is really the minimum at this point in the season. Any less would be embarrassing. On the flip side, the losses were from teams with a combined record of 23-4 and a loss average of nearly 3 touchdowns. Granted UT was close but a loss is a loss. And even that combined record of 19-36 is deceptive because THREE of those teams were low-level cupcakes with schedules filled with other cupcakes, and the teams Kentucky beat in the SEC had also beaten three cupcakes.
So, those 19 wins of Kentucky opponents include Eastern beating Tarleton and Utah TECH, and Akron beating Morgan State and Vanderbilt beating Alabama A&M, and Florida beating McNeese State, etc...Let's face it, it would be hard to have a 6-3 record without having a better win than Kentucky does...
Out of this world. Nearly 60 and looks 37. Some kind of vampire. She is still fantastic.

Love women that age like wine.
I was referring to volume of water. That 862 miles is through arid lands.Bert, I'm as willing as any native of Kentucky to exaggerate the wonders of the Blue Grass...But the Colorado River in Texas runs 862 MILES. That's further than from Cincinnati to New Orleans...Not sure even a middlin’ creek in Kentucky runs quite that far, much less a small one.

Talking about the Ohio River. I am trying to move, but still live in far western Ky. For many years I used to deliver shades to a customer in southern Illinois. I crossed over where the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers meet. One wonders why it is called the Mississippi after they merge. The Ohio looks twice as big and they say has twice the water.I was referring to volume of water. That 862 miles is through arid lands.
The Ohio river is only 980 miles, but it supplies half of the water that flows into the Gulf of Mexico via the Mississippi simply because the east is wet and the west is dry.
That was the point that I was making.
The Missouri is wide but shallow. The Mississippi and Ohio are wide and deep. The Potomac is wide but relatively a small volume of fresh water flows through it when compared to the Ohio or Columbia rivers.
In the St. Johns river in Florida you can catch salt water species in the river many, many tens of miles from the Atlantic. The flow is low and the tides from the Atlantic control the water level.

My wife turned 65 on the 2nd. Checking out Medigap vs. Medicare Advantage. Both have their pros and cons. Leaning towards Medigap. Any advice? We spent a few hours with an advisor this afternoon. Although she was supposed to be unbiased I got the feeling that she was pushing Advantage.
It's a learning experience. I'm trying to get as much information as possible that's why I started another thread on the Paddock. I have no doubt there will be some snarky comments but that's to be expected. It's kind of a crap shoot depending on unforeseen health issues.I am trying to learn that myself. We have insurance we can keep after I retire at the same premium so we will but I found out you have to have Medicare, Wife started with Part A and she now has part B, I've been trying to meet with the SS office. I sent in the document they stated they required but nothing changed. Will have to get more serious soon to ensure I am not losing a ton.
I wish I knew enough to help you, but I am swimming in in unchartered water myself. I chose what I hope is a good Advantage plan and figured I'd kind of self insure on the deductibles instead of paying extra premiums. Was it smart? I don't know. It's a learning experience. We're in a very good place on healthcare I think with a Medicare Advantage Plan sponsored by & restricted to retirees of my long-term employer. It's <5K/yr. I think it's that low due to the retirees restriction which means the typical person in it has above average health vs. the average person of the same ages. And you have to demonstrate you're in good health to enter it other than immediately upon retiring.I would like to help you all on Medicare but as I retired from a railroad I have Palmetto and it is different, plus the railroad still subsidizes my supplemental insurance.
I know one thing, my health insurance, both Palmetto and supplementals costs a lot of money, to the tune of about $12,000 a year for Sherry and I.
Thanks for being involved.Good morning everyone
This time change is not for me. I've been awake since 3:30 and I'm retired and didn't have to get up. Tomorrow wife and I are working election so we have to get up early and it will be a long day. I hope I can stay awake for the season opener tonight.

Yeah, seems shot selection for at least 2 players was/is my main concern.Meh. Poor shot selection but that's expected with Freshmen in the lineup early in the season. Still, this team is loaded with talent.
