Slept with plenty of cows( don’t go there) and woke up just fine. Cars ? Never have tried, but tempted when I saw a refurbished chevy 1970 pickup like I learned to drive on. Would have slept with it in a heartbeat.
I've slept IN cars, in trucks, in vans, and in a barn once but I've never had green eggs and ham... Sam I am not...

Returned yesterday afternoon to the grocery store. They seem better stocked on some items, yet missing many others, especially frozen. Looks like a major restocking task.

Same here. The Mrs makes (and loves banana bread) and you're right about Bob Evans.
I'm not real crazy about banana bread (love bananas but not crazy about other things made with them....make sense?). What I do like that she makes...in the same mold as banana bread....is zucchini bread and rhubarb bread.
Getting warmer, sun shining bright, but still plenty of snow....so it's tough on the eyes with the glare.

I feel bad for Brother Austin cause he's got to live with it.
I'm all for re-evaluating spending. I'm as frugal as could be imagined but knowing the city of Austin as I remember it I cannot think how a cut that deep will do anything but create misery for the "honest" citizens... jmuo
As is always the case, they talk cutting everything except what needs it.
Pretty sympathetic piece for the reallocation of police funds for housing homeless. But expected since it's a Newsy piece. Even though I believe Rumble is a somewhat conservative alternative to YouTube (I think)....I think Newsy is pretty liberal.Hope this isn't the case...

I'm fairly certain I saw this scene in a couple of those "terrible" movies in that other thread.
Kind of like the old days of wrestling (maybe still today) where the promoter would pay a wrestler to cut himself on the forehead. I've read where some of those old wrestlers would embed a piece of a razor blade in the tape wrapped around their wrist. More blood = more realistic....or so the story went.
It's currently 52° and sunny, with a high of 54° expected. Tomorrow it's supposed to get up to 59°. What a difference a week makes.

I just called time and temperature and it said it was currently 55. I know the ice is slowly melting. I went out and scraped the top off some of it, as it melted, so the the difficult part would get some sunshine. Hopefully, it will all be off my driveway by this evening.

Tiger in a pretty bad accident in L.A. In hospital undergoing surgery for leg injuries.
I was thinking the same thing the other day.
I'm not a big Tiger fan, on the golf course, but I am praying for his recovery. He has two little kids that love their Daddy. Well, the spine surgery is on for tomorrow, at 10:00 am. Nothing like what Sawnee has had to undergo, and just glad to be getting it over with. Laminectomy of L3,L4, and L4, L5. Should be able to come home on Thursday am.

Same here. I always thought he was a bit of an ass on the course. All smiles and perfect gentleman when things are going good. Total opposite when they're not. Seemed like a lot of times when he wasn't in the lead on a Sunday that he would just kind of 'pack in' the round...go thru the motions to get it over with.

I've never wished bad thoughts for anyone and I hope he makes a full recovery. Maybe I'm selfish because Nicklaus is my all-time favorite so I didn't want Tiger to break his majors record. I certainly didn't want it to happen this way. Jack's record is safe for a very long time, not to mention his 19 2nd place finishes.
