Life is good.
I agree. Pics[thumb2]. You got a Roy Orbison type swagger going on. Flipping awesome. I used to have hair, changed styles often. Today it's getting real thin so serious dome protection depends on hats. I have the ears lowered every three or four weeks, so I at least appear civilized wearing them. And if had a mane like that I let the wildling loose & yodel for all to hear.

Good morning from ATX. Currently 60°F and windy. More beautiful rain expected today and tomorrow. I'll take it.

Our English Shepherd woke me up early. Not ready for this. Post office left a notice and tried to deliver a certified letter yesterday. Guess I'll pick up tomorrow.

Happy Friday!

We'll check back later. Y'all behave.

IRS? Hope not. Hope you have won the Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes.

Wife checked into it. Certified letter from the Pflugerville police department. Back in 2006, after I returned from Iraq and worked at the Conexant design center, someone broke into my car. Only thing they got was identity stuff like insurance cards, etc. No cash. I thought this case had been closed.

Turns out that the Pflugerville PD still has evidence and a "significant amount" of cash remaining from the case. If I can prove how much and where stolen, I'll receive the $. It appears they've confused me with someone else.

HMD D league wives & mom
Think Im gonna go to church today, then get Red some pine needle mulch and then visit my mother (along with my brother).
As soon as I got into the art festival it started sprinkling/raining. Went into a restaurant/bar and a small band was playing some blues. Got something to eat along with a few beers & stayed dry.
Have a great day....no pressure though.

(insert some sort of witty saying or wisdom here)

I was born with really curly hair and for that reason I always kept it short. My son is the same way.

Happy Mother's Day to all from ATX. We're currently at 61°F, clear and sunny. Just gorgeous.

I'll hike to the supermarket after bit. Step-daughter will probably stop by in a few to wish the wife a happy day. Later today looks like a trip to Sam's Club is on the agenda after lunch. I must also prep my lunch meals for next week.

Y'all take care and have a good one.

Good morning! Got me a solid 11 hours of sleep last night. Yet another side effect of having RA is the chronic fatigue.

Food was excellent on the train yesterday and luckily the couple we sat with was interesting. However, the experience would have been about the same if the train had just sat where we got on and not went anywhere. The best views were of the backyards of houses on the outskirts of Bardstown. The rest was just riding through the woods. We saw the sides of a few buildings at Jim Beam but you really couldn't see anything to give you idea of how large that place is. Bernheim Forest looked a lot like the fence row on the back of my property.

I'm glad she thought of it because each time we've gone by there I say I've always wanted to try it. With that said, I've tried it and have no need to ever do it again.

I don't know what the weather is going to do today but I do know that I will not be experiencing it. I'm where I'm going to be all day long except for the occasional trip to the kitchen or the bathroom.

Tomorrow I'll go out and play with the porch again. I bought a new drill bit that is supposed to be able to drill through rebar. If it doesn't, then I guess I won't have as many anchor bolts as I wanted. I'll still have plenty I think, but I may have to rethink and secure the roof to the house some way.

Can't wait to get started on making the adirondack furniture for out there. I'll be able to use every feature of the combination work table I built. After those are done I'll be building a wet bar in the same style as the egg table.

My initial estimate of about $600 is going to turn out to be more like $2000. If you throw in the value of my labor, that would bring the total price to somewhere north of $2013.67

57.2°F and raining lightly. We "ain't seen the sunshine since I don't know when". And I ain't stuck in Folsom Prison.

Happy Mothers day to BKO and all other mothers who may read this.

Austin, that was not much of a hair cut. I was expecting an Army buzz. :flushed:

If you've got, flaunt it. With my chrome dome this would be the best I could come up with.

I hate being bald. I wear a ball cap until I go to bed at night.

Chrome dome on steriods. I am proud of being bald. I lost my hair in my early twenties. Grass will not grow on a busy street!

Yep. That's me too. You are a little bit hippier though with that hair covering the top of your ears

I was a youth leader in my church in the late 60s. I let my hair grow about that length on the sides. I learned later that the church board discussed what to do about the bad example I was setting. Nothing was ever said though.
