D-League

Good morning from ATX. Currently 62°F. Expecting more upper 70s later today.

Wife and I actually pulled for this season's edition of the Vols. Rick Barnes coached here 16 years. Except for a Final Four berth way back when, it's another Barnes choke job.

How about Texas Tech taking Michigan to the woodshed? Ha ha!

Cats are in KC. Late game tonight. Go Cats!

We'll check back later. Y'all behave.

Good morning D League. Glad to see you all doing well. I've been grinding at work so spending less time here.

It's going to be a long day waiting out the Cat's game. I'm feeling confident and nervous as always. I wish we knew what the Cars would get out of PJ.

Well, off the work. I hope it is a good day for all.

Good morning D-League

Nice day today with sunshine and cool breeze. Current temp is 54° with a high today around 76°. If you are working outside it will be a perfect day for that.

So the Vols go out and drive on back to Knoxville. Spring football ?? Watching the games shows you better be ready to play when you come out of the locker room. And hope you have a fair referee crew. Cal will have them ready now go out and play your game men and we advance.

My coffee cup is empty so I better fill 'er up. Go Cats

I just walked past the arena where Duke will play tonight. I put my hand on the NCAA logo and put a curse on Duke: "Once they enter this building later today, do not let them leave until their season is over - before this hour tomorrow."

Do I believe in curses? I'll let you know tomorrow.

I will say that lots of my buddies who root for different programs not playing tonight are going to the game just to cheer against Duke, so maybe that will also help.

Hello and good morning to the D-League,
-It's a cool, pleasant 49 degrees here in the Chattanooga TN/North Georgia area, headed for a perfect 73 degrees later on.

-I was at a high school track meet until 9:30 last night, so I missed most of the basketball and, even worse, the entire slate of opening day MLB baseball. Bummed as I was, I'm still amped up for this MLB season as there are some outstanding teams and some probable, historic all time great players in the middle of their careers; players that we'll look back on as legends.

-I don't care that the vols lost last night. Good riddance to them and their riff-raff fans. Many will say, "but Kai, don't you root for our SEC brothers in the tourney?" and I would say that I don't really have the conference loyalty that some seem to have.

-I hope PJ can play later on tonight, but I'm not counting on it. Hopefully we can advance on and Auburn can have another hot game like they did in the SEC championship game and end up taking out the unCheaters.

Peace.....

Good morning Rooster. My wife just brought me another cup of coffee. I had a late night last night and need a second pot. Not a cup but a pot.
Late night, long day ahead but looking forward to the brawl tonite. Really like the team. I'm sure PJ plays if possible. Playing last year with the broken hand said all I needed to know. Your posts (amoung others) sure lift my spirits at the best times) D rules . . . a better place. Later.

Rooster, you are a cherished and valuable member of the D League. We appreciated you

Stayed up late and watched tv but still managed to wake up at the crack of 1100.

I don't have anywhere to be today and I have nothing specific to do. So I guess I'll go out in the backyard and start picking up sticks and putting them in a pile. Depending on the wind I might even light off a batch of charcoal in the barrel.

I just hope the refs play fair and square tonight. I know we'll show up to kick ass and should have no problem doing so.

Go Cats!

Plus 1 there rooster. Well the day is here. Palms sweaty. Planning some things. But it will be next to impossible to get me out of the house after sundown.

Of course I hope pj plays. Normally, in the 16, you better be ready to match and even increase the intensity of what your opponent is doing.

I am a SEC guy in the dance. So, that foul at the end of regulation was not. Please.
Should have kept his whistle in his pocket.

So it will be quite day here. Kids start spring break today. Actually Monday. Last night they wore me down and I told them they could stay home today too. I mean crap, the Cats are playing in Dance. Should be no schooll! FCC

Better question would be do you really think rocky flop fans would root for KY? Don't think so!!!!!

Morning D-Leaguers nasty ole day here in the Berg, but at least it's not cold. Got a good report from my Urologist in Owensboro, no more kidney stones looking at the x-rays! I ask him what was the best thing that I could drink to help prevent them and he told me lemonade, I an handle that!! Now just got to do a Fill-uh-jug then go back for my follow-up. When I get antsy or nervous before a game I start eating, I have already polished off a BBQ sandwich I made and some Black and White popcorn!!!!! It's not a good time for my sister to bring me a bag of it!!!! If you have never had any of this popcorn it's addictive!! Ya'll have a great and safe day!!!!

Add a tootsie roll now!LOL

And probably not. But, I'm not going to think as "they" do. That's how all the Loui. crap started. Nice here today Cord. FCC.
Just cloudy ole rainy day so I went to Uncle Lee's and got me some fly line this morning. I got my dad's after he passed away and I think it's time to use it!!! I use to fly-fish a lot here in the stripper pits around the coal mines. I have seen my dad catch some large bass on it so I am going to see if his luck will still be there!!!

I just about quit cheering for other SEC schools when I realized they rooted for our opponents. I will pull for a few SEC teams in the tourney, but not many.

Hi, Rooster. Had errands to run so it is too late to wish you a good morning, but I hope you have a great rest of your day, with the best part of it between 10:00 and midnight. I was just wondering, have you ever contemplated a time when you can't find a locomotive with a corresponding number? If it ever happens will you just give in, and accept it as fate, or cut and paste?

Question, a lot of people are talking about Tyler leaving, what's D-League take on this? I don't think he will. I may be wrong (my wife says I am wrong 99% of the time)but he just seems like he will be here a little bit longer. I hope I am right!

I don't think he should, but I believe he will. He should stay and get stronger to handle bigger, more mature players, along with just growing up some more. It is tough to go to playing every other night, in a different city. But, I think he will take the money and not risk getting hurt. I understand, but I am not sure I agree. Hope it works out for him, whichever way he goes.

Afternoon D.
Kind of wanted UT to win last night (for bracket purposes) but I'm OK with Purdue winning. Any chance that another school from Indiana wins just lets all IU fans know how much their program sucks....or something like that.
Went to the D2 Final Four game last night....USI lost, never had the lead the entire game. It was a close game, they just could never get over the hump.
I got Texas Tech in the FF.... beat the snot outta Michigan.
Lets go Cats...gonna be a loong night waiting for the game and then watching.
Good luck tonight to all ... group hug.

Now let's beat those &^%$#* #@!%^*
