Had those a few years ago at a Sonny’s in Richmond. They were pretty good.
So that is how Bert got out all those times.
When all is said and done, the one before this one, may be their last.

Folks, this morning I edited the Florida game and watched it again.
There was one stretch where they called 6 straight fouls on UK simply because the foul differential was so large. On one trip down the court 3 fouls on UK simply because poor little Florida was not getting free throws.
Florida plays defense with their hands and swat and swipe. White is not a good coach, yet he bitches at the refs to get a few calls. I am glad that they went 9-9 in the SEC. But they are on the weak side of the SEC tourney and I can see them in the Final.
I just hope it is UK there in the final of the SECT to whip their asses for the third time. Plus I hope that we have Travis back and beat the dog crap out of the Gators.

Good evening. Finally back home. Bus ride from airport to home took 1.5 hours. Ran an errand after arriving back here. Trying to digest the past 10 days right now. Life is a trip.

Bert, I hope you're right but I don't see them being able to win it with the inside game they have. I see maybe Auburn being the dark horse in that bracket, if, and it is a big if, they get hot and hit 3's. If not, maybe Ole Miss.
Funerals are tough, but we make it through them because we have family and friends to help us. It really hits you when you start going through personal items, such as pictures, collectibles and other things that bring back memories. Not easy. Hang in there, it will get better.

Good night D League. Hope everyone has a great evening and a better tomorrow. I have had the flu since Monday and the best thing for me seems to be rest, so I am hitting the hay. Guess I was a little better today, because I wasn't so tired, but I skipped church, which I seldom do, because I didn't want to pass this to anyone. Maybe by the middle of the week I will feel human again.
Thanks for the kind words! Much appreciated. Mom had a simple, lovely service with a great pastor. Because she fell in the hospital and nearly died in March, 2017, we went through everything that year. She exhibited dementia as early as 2005. Advanced stages really bore down in 2015. No one in the family could care for her except professionals. The bad fall really was the beginning of the end. Long goodbye.

Austin, I guess in my travels I missed the news about your mother, but please accept my belated sympathies.
I hope it is a good morning for the D-League.
I'm back at my desk with this weird sensation that the weekend never happened -- that I got up to check with a colleague came back and sat down and the week started all over again.
After next weekend -- when I repeat the round trip to Kentucky to take my son back to Lexington and check in on my parents again - no more road trips for a while. I'm already checking the flights and the Greyhound schedule for him.

Hey there D-League, I hope everyone is off to a great Monday!!
It's a cool 53 degrees here after a beautiful sunny high of 74 yesterday. Unfortunately, more floooding happened around here Friday and Saturday as I registered another 3.6 inches of rain, which brings me up to 25.9 inches already and it's only March. I usually don't hit this mark until mid-June.
Just a few more days until Spring Break....and hopefully a UK SEC tourney trophy. I would love to take a few days next week, maybe hop down to Florida for a spring training game or I might just dink around the house, doing some cleaning a shaping up the outside landscaping a bit. We'll see.....

My daughter went to UK while I lived in Baltimore and then in Jacksonville, FL. She used up a bunch of frequent flyer miles. Soph. year we bought her a new car and then we got to worry about her driving through the mountains.

Bert - same exact pattern - We are buying my son a car at end of freshman year (we used it as an incentive for him to get good grades this year and he has stepped up.)
I'd fly him back and forth but 1. It is a chance to see my aging parents and I can't miss any of those 2. He really opens up about things he's otherwise taciturn about during the long drives so I value that time as well.
I bought all my children and grandchildren their first car.

Question? A few years ago my wife calls me from the bank and asks me, I found this $100 bill that looks funny, the serial number is on the back do you want it! Sure, when she brings it home it's in pristine condition, just brought in from the fed. I ask her if there were any more she said she looked but that was it. My question is how many more of these are out there? It's worth a little, but I had a guy that I was trying to get some info about it tell me, if you will send it to me I'll send you $XXXX for it! That be me. Found around 35 cents this morning at my favorite car wash. Plan on purchasing a nicer metal detector soon. My Garrett 200 just won't cut it.

Took a break yesterday...the day & night before required a day of rest.
Went over to my brothers with a friend to watch the game while he worked on his car...we provided "moral support". He took his tv outta the garage, so we listened to the game on the UK network...it was just as enjoyable.
Who knew...apparently moral support comes packaged 6 at a time.
Calling it now. Whatever bracket UK is in, the committee will try like heck to have Murray St & IU in there also.
SEC tourney week...man I would love to head down to Nashville for the weekend. Don't even care about going to the games...just down there with BBN is fun enough.

I told my wife yesterday that they would put us in the same bracket as Michigan because of the kid that transferred out!
I have two Garrett's A 350 and an AT Pro,the Pro is a great machine! I keep looking at the upgrade but can't see getting it, don't need anymore bells and whistles, the Pro is just easy and simple to use!!! Story about a car wash, my neighbor knew the owner of one here, so he asked him if he could get the dirt from there, so he some from him to put it in his wife's flower bed, he told me later that that dirt was full of change!Cupcakes make for a nice start to Monday morning.

I don't know why they put us in brackets with good teams. Just make us a 1 seed and 15 16 seeds, allow us to choose the refs and spare us all this anxiety and nail biting.
The Grove is going to be a rockin partying place with you two. Someone alert the authorities.
