Made it home again. What a game! My hands are sore.

Everything started off well. Had a nice chat with Bert on the way there. Drove straight to the parking lot with no trouble at all until I had to flip the dude a twenty to park. Next was ten bucks for a coke and a hot dog. Still ok since the tickets were free.

I did my usual to give the extra ticket away. I just go over to the ticket window and pick out someone walking up to the window. It's funny when people realize that someone has just walked up to them and gave them something that they want, for free.

I won a Chikfila chicken biscuit because one of their guys missed two free throws. I think you have to get it in Lexington though. And you have to download their app. Pass.

People sitting behind me probably thought "that guy sure shakes his head a lot". I saw a bunch of stuff tonight that made me shake my head. I would have yelled many more and varied obscenities if I had watched the game at home. Believe it.

Oh, you'll be referred to some specialist for sure.

I cut one of my specialists out of the loop. I gave his job to my GP. He can prescribe the same medicine that guy was giving me and his attitude is a lot better. COPD is incurable, why do I need a specialist to prescribe breathing meds? Copay is cheaper too.

I suppose I'll go to bed now. Go Cats!

Good morning from ATX. Currently 59°F and foggy. Clearing. May see morning showers. Expecting a 77°F high today.

Whew, great comeback, yet close game last night. Hogs came ready to play. How about Herro?

Yeah, I won a biscuit too at Rupp year before last, but ushers ran out of tickets.

Colonoscopy prep complete. What a mess.

We'll check back later. Y'all behave.

Good morning D-League

Temperature is currently 59° with a high of 72°F. Should be some nice sunshine today following a light misty rain over night. I am "fasting" this morning as I need to get some blood work done for my annual physical next week. But my fasting includes black coffee. Nothing stops me from drinking a morning cup or two not even a fast.

Well last night was nerve racking but we won. I would like to see a miracle so Travis will be able to play against Tennessee. I think PJ plays better when Travis fills the middle. Tyler was money last night and when he is on his game he has one of the prettiest shots of anyone in UK history. IMO Louie Dampier and Kyle Macy were the best shooters of my lifetime for the Cats but Tyler's a thing of beauty when he plays like he did last night. We needed him and he rose to the occasion.

Trust all are well this morning in body and spirit. Have a great day all.

Hello and Good Morning D League,

Currently 51 degrees, party cloudy and, most importantly, DRY, headed for a sunny high of 72 today here in the Chattanooga/North GA. area. Much of our flooding has started to finally settle down, thank God. After a few showers tomorrow, it could be the 2nd rainest February since records have ever been kept around here, dating back to the 1800's.

That was an ugly win last night, but still one more for the "W" column and a good experience that our guys can look back on later in the tourney season for some grind-it-out motivation. Otherwise, work is stressful and I'm looking at a looming, costly dental procedure, but will carry on and count my blessings.

Have a great day everyone and enjoy it.....

I used to do the same thing. Dr. Wethington, who was UK's President before Todd, has 4 tickets in row B of Sec 13, and sometimes his son and daughter in law would not attend. When that happened, he would give the 2 to me and ask me to give them to someone with a child. So I would go into the foyer as people entered and find an adult, with one child, and ask them where their tickets were. If they said they were in the upper level, I asked them to follow me. When they asked why, I told them, "You just hit the lottery". When they found out where they were going to sit, they always thanked me, and I would tell them that they needed to thank Dr. and Mrs. Wethington, whom they would be sitting next to. The look on a kid's face when he sees the game from those seats is priceless. The Wethington's are great folks and every time I go to a game, I stop and see them.

What a fantastic story and thank you for sharing this Ben. These type of stories make for a great day.

Was it a good crowd last night? Sounded pretty loud in the 2nd half, and Cal commented on the crowd helping them.

When I have two I try to go the adult-child route as well.

I was surprised at the crowd last night. I anticipated around 15 but there were 22 thousand there. Very few empty seats in the upper corners. I don't know if it came through on the tv but there was ample noise throughout the game.

Out of that many people I only saw about 10 people leave when there was about a minute and a half left. There still wasn't a mass exit until Quickley sealed the deal with the two free throws.

That's the last game I'll see at Rupp until the renovation. I'll be there again to welcome the team back from number 9 and probably sit on a bench, but the next game will be from a chair.

I just received an email that my Federal Tax Return has been deposited. I want to thank President Trump for the tax cuts last year. It blew me away when I found out how much I had over paid. I made quarterly payments based on the year before, not taking into account the changes in the tax laws. I will correct that this year but for now I will enjoy the difference the tax laws made.

I love going to the NCAA Championship celebrations in Rupp. I think I will make the trip just for that. Might as well, I am not getting any younger. .

Don't blame you. If I had to sit in the upper level, I would just as soon watch it at home, where I can have free good eats, and watch replays.

Good, I'm glad you could hear us. It was thunderous at times just like always, but there weren't too many quiet moments.

We had an Arkansas fan sitting right there and he was a happy camper for the first half. I never heard one person say anything to him when he would stand up and yell. After the game He was gracious and we all said our platitudes. We have great fans and I never once felt like I was alone at the game. I had 22,000 friends with me.

It's amazing to me when I have traveled to NY, NO, Atlanta, Maui or anywhere else with the Cats. When you run into other Cat fans, you find out where they are from and then you act like you have known each other for years. Then, every time you see them again, it is like a reunion with long lost neighbors Something very special about being a part of the BBN.

Man, Louie Dampier could shoot. So could Kyle.
