If we play Louisville like we played Middle Tennessee today, we probably will not win. We came within an eyelash of losing today. I don't miss very much of our games. I'll forget what we all saw today, but it has left me feeling awful about our team. Our defense against the run was not good. Awful against the pass. QBing was sorry. For all intents and purposed our QB is a freshman. Junior College is glorified high school level IMO. Terry will get better. It is safe to say that his strong suit is not passing. It is hard to win with no real passing attack.

Our pass defense is truly horrible. I don't know what happened to our defense, but something has happened to it.

I am glad we won, but I did not enjoy that game today. Middle Tennessee.

Truth. We need to tighten up that defense against UL. We should have scored over 40 points today after jumping out to a 17-0 lead. Don't forget MTS had two bad turnovers to start the game and both led to touchdowns. Take that out and the game is a whole lot different. But turnovers are a part of the game and it is nice to get them for a change.

On the bright side, Louisville lost to the Wolfpack today 52-10. Scored their only touchdown late in the game when NCS had called off the dogs.

As I watch this game my mind tells me if we switched roosters with Tennessee and played them again. They would still beat us just as bad as they did. They could beat us with our players and beat us with theirs. It is a mental thing because we are beat before the kickoff. We go into a game at Knoxville convinced they are going to kick our butt., And they do.

If it makes Kash feel any better, Tennessee only had 88,000 today. Their attendance is down also.

Congrats on the win, guys. Mizzou stomped us. I’m glad I won’t see Drew Lock in a Mizzou uniform against us again. But they’re going to fall off next year, and fall off big. Vols have only 13 seniors this season. I’m optimistic!

• This is the day our Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad. And we can also rejoice over another football victory. Well if you were disappointed in their play you can be thankful instead of rejoice.
• Coffee hit the spot again as always. My wife made it this morning so it is not quite as strong as when I do it but it is good. Very good.
• The rodeo has come and gone. The weather was perfect and all had a good time. Those boys and girls are really skilled and have some beautiful animals.
• This looks like a day I am going to sit back and relax. After church I am going to our favorite seafood restaurant and enjoy the beach and nature. Just take my shoes off and get some sand in my toes.

I am glad the Cats won yesterday, but they sure let MTSU come back. Mark says he know the problem; however, I hope to beat the shit out of Louisville but I don't know if it will happen.

Good morning from Shawanee, TN, located near the KY-TN-VA borders. Staying with a relative. Currently 43°F and partly cloudy.

Arrived here last night around 10:30 PM after stops in GA and Knoxville. It was a long day. Great to be back.

How about them Cats yesterday? 8-3 so far, with a chance at going 9-3. A record unseen since the Jerry Claiborne era, I believe.

BB Cats tonight. I'll check times later.

Vols got hammered by Missouri. I listened to the Vols post-game radio show on the drive up here from ATL. Whew! Nobody was happy during that broadcast. They were blown out.

Daughter already called this morning. After I run over to KY this morning, I'll visit daughter and granddaughter.

Got me a good 8 hours sleep last night, feeling good.

Wife had coffee made when I woke up. 'preciate it lady!

Last night I concocted a brownie in a large coffee mug, baked in the microwave for one minute. Then I made some whipped cream to go on top. Mmmm. Might do it again tonight and make it a weekend thing.

Ready for basketball action tonight. How many times will we hear about VMI beating that drunken fool we hired?
