Congrats guys. Great game, deserve the win. I didn’t watch one minute of our game. I’m in Atlanta as I post. Just got engaged, so my lady friend is now my fiancée. Just did a little weekend getaway and I didn’t want to be distracted by the awful football team I root for!

Did the dinner mystery show at Agatha’s. Highly recommendable. Heading home tomorrow

Congratulations Ghost. Will you now be Anna's step father? If so the poor kid will be ruined beyond all hope! :joy:

Post Script: I had Tennessee company yesterday afternoon. Don Valentine is the pastor at one of the local churches. He stopped by and we had a blast catching up on the families. He used to help me a lot when I was mayor of the town. His problem is he is a Vandy fan.

I know Florida is not the teams from the past but we went there and gator stomped em, then turn around and stomp the #14 team in the country on both sides of the ball..RESPECT HAS BEEN EARNED, now it needs to been heard and seen ( Corso )...THAT TARD BLOOD STILL RUNNING IN HIS BRAIN!

Not one of my "need to get done" things are done..friggin rain and going to be here all week it looks like

Good morning. Don't know if you heard but we picked up a player right after the game last night. Can't remember his name but he signed on the dotted line after he saw who we've become. Future quarterback.

This is how you make a difference. Winning big games on big stages will bring in the recruits.

South Car. is a good team, but I don't think they are as good as MSU or UF. Why not?

I didn't like that we brought in a coach who needed to learn on the job, but six years later it's starting to pay dividends.

Actually I will be Anna’s grand dad. I’m going from no kids of my own to 4 boys and a girl (all grown) and 3 grands (who adore their Papa Terry). FMG (Future Mrs Ghost) already has wedding fever. She is picking out her dress next weekend. Of course, Anna is going to be a flower girl!

Congratulations Ghost. Sounds like a great family to be joining officially with a wedding.

As with others, still smiling over the Cats. Dutifully ground out a six mile run in a steady rain - and thinking about highlights of the game kept me smiling. Could we be on the verge of one of those legendary years in Kentucky sports history? Why not.

Good morning...or should I say GREAT morning everyone!
Congrats on the big W last night to those of you who have been long time UK football followers! I'm only a few years in, I don't follow it like I do basketball....but I think I'm gonna have to start.
I watched the 1st qtr last night then went out to eat w/family at the Gerst Haus. Every TV in the place had the @$#&ing IU/Michigan St. game on. Its my own fault.
Hoping to catch a replay on the SEC network at some point.

I agree w/starchief...reading thru the thread after the game is enjoyable. You can feel the emotions...then Bko throws in "btw, my nails look fabulous"

Probably a lazy day today. Drinkin coffee now, heading to church in a bit. I try to go once a month...

Hyped about football, but Midnight Madness is less than a month a way! Crazy.

House is a rockin this morning. Still can't get over these speakers. I was skeptical about them for several different reasons. First off, the kit was so cheap. $180 with free shipping. I figured that even if it sucked I would be able to use the drivers and crossovers to design my own speakers. To me it was like buying a model car as a kid. It's not about having a model car, it's about building a model car. Dude that designed this setup is not even a sound engineer. Go figure.

Cats are ranked #17 in both the Coaches and AP polls as of today. Quite a jump and well deserved. Keep up the good work!

If we can beat South Car. this weekend, and we can, then things get very interesting. Even if we drop to ATM at their house it won't look too bad and we'll still have a chance to win out. This could very well be the best season of most of our lives, especially those of us under 70.

Rainy Sunday with my wife off at a work-related gathering, so I'm indulging in the guilty pleasure of watching an old black and white movie -- the 1956 original Invasion of the Body Snatchers!

Creepy allegory on the risk to a free society of soulless Communism - or McCarthy-era anti-communism. Anyway, it's a fun watch.

Someone should do a remake focused on the threat to free thinking people of oppressive political correctness.

Kentucky is legit: Totally didn’t see this coming, but Kentucky’s 28-7 victory over Mississippi State was very real and spectacular. Though the competition hadn’t been great, the Bulldogs looked awesome the first three weeks, so it didn’t seem like going to Lexington would pose a huge threat to their chances of contending in the SEC West. Instead, Mississippi State’s offensive line absolutely got destroyed and Kentucky all-SEC linebacker Josh Allen did most of the destroying. It seemed like he was in Nick Fitzgerald’s grill all night, and Mississippi State couldn’t do anything to block him. Though it was a disappointing and perplexing effort by the Bulldogs, particularly rushing for just 56 yards, we may need to consider the possibility that 4-0 Kentucky is borderline elite defensively. In the SEC East, they may be the only potential challenger to Georgia.

Stoops is piling up the accomplishments as UK's coach:

* Broke the UT streak
* Broke the UF streak
* First 2-0 start in SEC play since 1977
* First back-to-back top 25 wins since 1977
* First AP poll entry since 2007

Plus Bennie Snell has a damn good shot at becoming UK's all-time rushing leader and a valid Heisman candidate. I'm not getting too far ahead but looking at the remaining schedule there's no reason not to be excited about this team.

Classic film. The 1977 remake with Donald Sutherland was actually pretty good IMO.

A completely unrelated flick, The Body Snatcher from 1945 with Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi is highly recommended.
