Well fans, they are getting ready to pave the West concourse tonight or tomorrow and there is still a lot to do.I didn't have much time to check much out today but I will try to be extra diligent tomorrow and get some good shots on the eve of the season opener. Tick Tock.

..... oh, and I did get to meet Coach Stoops today and I asked him if he and the team are ready for Saturday. His response was "You think these guys (referring to everyone working on the stadium) are under pressure. I have to be ready to go out there (pointing to the field) every Saturday,"

I was impressed how laid back he and Mitch were today since it's crunch time.

LOVE the door leading out onto the field. I hope these guys start some kind of new tradition coming out of there. Sounds like a few guys were really excited to be able to run under the goalposts onto the field.

I can't wait to see the new updates tomorrow evening all of these photos look great. Just think of how great the whole lower bowl will look with all blue bench backs. It will look electric. That's a long time though lol but it will be done by the start of next season. MB hinted at way to much over the last few days.

Noticed they have not put the graphic on the recruiting room "roof" yet. Assume that gets done today?

UK and the construction crew did a fantastic job with this renovation. Just wish I lived much closer to where I could get season tickets in the club area and enjoy it more.

Yeah I noticed the same thing. I assume that you are correct. I am hoping that the font on it is the same as the designs were orignially drawn up instead of what occurred with the towers next the press box logos being downsized. Because that Logo at that font size will really make that area pop IMO

My hope is its the checkered pattern with WILDCATS on it.

Yeah that would look pretty cool. I will settle just for Kentucky in the big font like it was drawn up. Here's to hoping that the font size is large on what ever they put up there lol.

I LOVE the new graphics on the panel between the field and the seats. The ones weve had for the past few years were awful. Clean and simple and looms great.

They really need to get the graphics for the recruiting room roof on there. Thats what makes that all look good. Hope they do.

Headed home man. Been a long week and I did get a shot of it laid out on the balcony that I will post later with the rest of today's batch.

There is a lot of scrambling going on as you can only imagine, right? They are still pulling cable and hooking up plumbing as I type this. Everyone will be, I hope, pleased with the entire project as there is a drastic improvement from what we all have seen since 1999.
