Crystal Ball Predictions: KU Now Leading UK for LaGerald Vick

This is one I honestly won't be upset to lose to them. I don't think he's gonna be a factor for either team next season, and it would take a spot on their roster for the following season, which will have a loaded incoming class.

Wrong. Vick is really good and could potentially start

After 6 months of "this recruit is a lock" or "this recruit has cut his list to two" I am just willing to sit back and let this one play out. Too late in the game to get my blood pressure up over this one. If we get him, great. If we don't, lets tee it up and see how we do, and wait on a loaded 16 class.

after UK started at 100 percent. KU fans are salivating at the notion of beating UK for three 2015 recruits. Be interesting to see how this plays out.

No KU fans are salivating over beating out Kentucky for this kid. He'd be a nice complementary piece for both schools but he isn't someone everyone is going to go crazy for. He's a back up shooter and a 3/4 year developmental project.

How many schollies does Kentucky have open still? Not making anything of it, just unaware and interested.

Honestly, nothing against Vick, but I am at the point as well to who cares. I am so over this class.

So four slots open still? Yowsa. Kansas left two scholarships unused last year but four puts you in a bind if anything at all goes wrong. Kansas was pretty screwed once Cliff had to be held out and Ellis injured his knee. I hope Kentucky gets a few more dudes in the door. I like to see all the big programs healthy and doing well.

They beat us out for Wiggins, then Oubre and Alexander (even though we were pretty much loaded in the frontcourt and he wouldn't have helped us at all, I'll still give them "credit" for it), but it didn't really help them much.

I am ready to roll with what we have....best pg in country and top overall recruit is solid foundation. But....of course we could always get better.

KU fans need something to cheer about because they sure haven't beaten us on the court in awhile.

I gave up on this recruiting class weeks ago, don't expect anyone else to join. We will be just fine as long as the injury bug doesn't get us for the 4th straight season.

Possible LaGerald Vick remains 2016. Odds r he goes 2015, though. Thinking of a comparison. More physical, less explosive Antonio Blakeney.

Vick would be a great pick-up. He's started coming on...late bloomer...and would fill a great need for us. If Vick gets out of Kansas without committing & actually makes it to our campus this weekend...I think he'll be ours to lose if Cal offers. I like getting the "last say".

Word around Memphis is H'es a KU lean. We'll see. I don't count Cal out until the hats picked up.

Should be only 3 if you count Floreal who is given the leftover fraction something like .7 ish. Regardless plenty of space left.

Kentucky hasn't "officially" offered LaGerald Vick, but I'm quite confident he can commit there. So call that what you want.

would make no sense whatsoever. They're already loaded at the 2 and 3 and UK is dying for one more wing scorer.
Curious what Self's message will be to him vs. Calipari. Would seem like a harder sell to Kansas with the roster more full vs. the thin roster at Kentucky as you say. I know Calipari doesn't guarantee starting minutes, but I'd hope he'd tell him he will be a part of the rotation this year. If he's smart he'd see more opportunity to make an impact at Kentucky this year.
