Get the ovation he got at BBM at UL(leave out the fact that would require them to sell out a game)?
Let’s say for the 20th anniversary of their championship(*) they decide to recognize that team and Rick. Would he get the welcome he got Friday night in 9 years at UL? Or did he burn that bridge with the majority of fans with some of his comments on Friday?
Obviously we just gave him a huge ovation despite the things he has done in his past(going to UL & giving the bird last time he was in Rupp). But IMO those things do not come close to cutting the way some of the quotes he gave just on Friday night if you were a UL fan.
So could Pitino get an overwhelming ovation despite all but flat out saying that Kentucky has always been his home and he has always thought that even during his tenure at UL?
