Cord Cutting-How to watch college/pro sports?

YouTube TV is worthless to me without Bally Sports which would eliminate me from being able to watch my Reds in a 162 game season. I'm good! By the time you add all of the premiere sports packages after paying $73 already for the base plan (just looked it up), it's not that much of a savings plus have to go pay $120 up front for the year or $25 per month for MLB TV, the legal way and it blacks out local market games. No reason to switch here.
Amazon product ASIN B085S822P5
Watch every MLB, NFL and NBA game on this. If the link doesn't work, go to amazon and buy the XBMCMart box. It works. it costs 100

Thank you for sharing the box information. Do these have DVR functions to pause, rewind/fast forward? Also can you get shut down by the ISP for using them? It seems like the practical thing to have if not, but those boxes have always concerned me.

I tried YouTube TV last year. Liked it but couldn’t justify keeping it past football and basketball season. Was going to pick it back up this year but I’ve found several channels that stream games straight to regular YouTube. I’ve watched about any game I wanted through it.

No recording function, but most things can be found that already happened. I've had one for at least 10 years and have had no issue with ISP. Buy a VPN for 50 bucks a year if you are concerned.

Bally will stop broadcasting games after this year. MLB needs to figure their shit out. Blacking out games in 2024, is beyond absurd.
Doubt it, Bally Sports/Diamond Sports Group got bailed out by Amazon. They will be able to catch up on payments they are behind on to MLB teams with Amazon having a minority ownership stake. Their stations just got picked up by Amazon Prime to allow more viewers to catch the games.

Is it legal? No! The odds of getting caught, VPN or not are slim to none but it does happen. Yes, your ISP can be forced to turn over usage logs with a court order which can lead back to your VPN. Think about it, if it were legal, wouldn't everyone in the world pay $100 one time for a setup to get any live TV they want? If a copyright holder gets wind of your IP address, you can get a strike from your ISP and even slow down your internet speed. Some people will still gamble with the odds of getting caught because they don't give a shit. Streaming sites whether it is through a legit service like YouTube TV, Sling etc or a pirated stream having certainly had an impact in driving up the costs for people still using a traditional cable/satellite TV box. Bottom line, if it is too good to be true, it usually is!
