Out of 10 what’s everybodies confidence level at? I’m not saying anything. Kentucky can certainly win, and they can certainly lose. If the shooting stays bad and they don’t toughen up they will lose. But those things can be fixed(hopefully)

The two coaches know each other. The advantage goes to the team with better players and that played longer together so they can execute better and plays basically at home. If Kentucky does not mentally recover from the loss at Clemson, the game will be over from the first 5 min cause the zags will jump on us.

Yes the shooting has to be better than it's been and we have to rebound better. There were many times tonight we just couldn't come down with the board when it looked as if we had it.

If the team uses this as a learning experience, handles it the right way, I like our chances Saturday

I’m not going into this expecting to win. A top 10 team on the road that has a dynamic offense and solid defense? That’s hard to come away with a win but I still won’t be surprised if we get the win. This week is kind of a brutal way to put a schedule together. All cupcakes in a row then minus CC the go on the road to Clemson and zags? I mean damn, spread that hard games out a little bit

4.

Gotta at least keep it close. Can’t have the beatdown we did a couple years back…when ironically we were also ranked 4th in the country.

Just further prove you’re a good team and good enough to plausibly have a chance in March. Not expecting some Monstars domination from this bunch. Win or lose, just come away more convinced we are a good team.

I can promise you one thing. Mark few will find something from tonight and he will run it over and over and over again if it’s working for Gonzaga early. I bet they go to huff and Ike and force Kentucky to try and stop it

We shoot well we will beat pretty much anybody. We’re Due to break out of a mini-rut. I do think maybe one of the young guys need a look in place of Kriisa. He’s not giving us much.

About a 4 for me, I mean we’re not going to make every 3 attempt but geez we gotta knock down some especially the wide open ones to compete on the road. And our perimeter D was beyond grange tonight, we made their wings and guards look like AAs then our bigs can’t block a shot.

About a 3 I think.

I’m not freaking out about losing this game tonight. I am very concerned about some real and obvious limitations we have that were exposed though. I think they are the types of limitations that aren’t easily overcome.

It’ll be a fun year, one in which we can enjoy our new coach, enjoy watching some guys on the court who love being here. But it may not be one where we see a lot of tourney successes. Hope that’s not the case, but it may be.

Dumb Gonzaga is 2-0 against Kentucky since the series started a couple years ago. I think UK will have another blunder game from three point land. Question is, can Pope coach around that?

Before the season started, I thought Gonzaga would win this game. I have no reason to really think otherwise, but we'll see. Honestly, I haven't necessarily watched any games this year, so I don't have a confidence meter.

Pope will have them ready to play. This game will be addressed as a learning moment, as it should. I am not down on the team at all but I do recognize that we have areas of concern. We will correct a lot over the next few days but possibly still lose on Saturday. We may play better and still lose. I am betting on Pope and this group of guys to be light years ahead from where we are now........., in March.

Gonna be another 50/50 game just like many of our games will be this year. I’m curious to see how we respond after a loss but tonight didn’t really change my opinion on this team. Still think 22 wins or so and a solid 3 seed

I thought before tonight’s tipoff Clemson was the harder game and I still think that. Plus coming off a loss this big creates the opposite of a trap game situation. Our guys will be out for blood.

I don’t expect it to be easy. We are still in that uncomfortable period after our length and shooting and generalized college basketball experience are enough to carry us against the tougher teams and before we’ve had a chance to get our entire offense up to speed. But I’d still rather be us Saturday than Gonzaga.
