I wonder too. I prefer something of the "official" nature before I get too excited. But at least there's something on the national level instead of these local KY wannabes.

My guess is it was deliberately leaked to Mortensen, a credible national guy, to remove any doubt among guys UK is recruiting. I would not be surprised if it takes until after next week’s games for it to be announced.

This should stop the exodus of transfers from our offense unless they have been recruited over (as some have been). Not only that, but I expect Coen to be a significant recruiting asset. Scangarello was not.

Magwood and Lewis are two quality receivers that would have gotten lots of reps under Coen and would have been valuable contributors on offense.

Just the fact both of them know Coen’s offense makes them a big loss to the offense.

I hope one or both of them reconsider now that Coen is back.

Depends on when CMS notified Scangs and had the vacancy posted on the web site.

If last Monday, it could be technically announced tomorrow or over the weekend, if not Monday after close of business.

I can tell you for a FACT (and not saying who or how I know) but his ultimate goal in the NEAR NEAR future is to be a head coach , wherever that may be .

Sure. A year ago, Liam Coen was directly involved in recruitment of Barion Brown and the Wade twins, three key members of our 2022 class. I would expect him to have at least as much recruiting traction now, if not more.

Wade could start in the MCB then.
