Grainy video, but watch as one of the student managers drops a pen, picks it up, then Coach K immediately slaps it back down to the ground and forces the guy to pick it up again.
I don't even have to know what the definitive story is. I just know an asshat is involved.I really can't tell what's going on in that video
He's actually suffers from benjerman button syndromeK was obviously fending off an attack by a rogue tenn fan disguised as a dook monkey boy. The man is Bruce Lee reincarnated. What awesome reflexes. You're all just haters. Must now hit my inhaler and pour cold water on my partial chubby. #ninja. #espnreport.
Mike Krzyzewski is the kind of person that if he were to visit a children's hospital. He would get one of his flunkies to alert the media first so that they would be there with their cameras so everyone could see what a kind, wonderful man that Krzyzewski is. If there's a bigger hypocrite in sports. I Hope I never see him.
If he was a straight up Bobby Knight type jerk that was who he was and everybody knew it, it wouldn't even bother me so much. But the worst part for me is how he somehow convinces every recruit's mom that he is the most loyal, kind, caring individual in sports. The man is more two-faced than Harvey Dent.
If this wasn't K and Duke you'd all be making fun of the kid and talking about participation trophies and safe spaces. Coaches get pissed off and are mean sometimes. Is this really any worse than calling a player a "selfish m effer" on national tv.
But K and Duke still suck.

It's a student manager. They're at the bottom of the totem pole and easy targets. Takes a person with serious character defects to go after the weakest/easiest target in moments of stress.
Maybe you're one of those types of people and that's why it sits well with you.
Players about to make millions (Terrence Jones) are on a slightly different level than lowly student assistants, lol.
C'mon, people!
The motion involved with continually bending down to pick up a pen, is the SAME motion as bending down to slap the floor. Coach K is TEACHING! Always teaching, that guy.
lol K is truly the biggest phony in all of sports. Bobby Bowden level phony . He and his mentor Bobby KNight have alot in common but K is smart enough not to show his true colors to most ( and he doesn't hit people so he is better then Knight).Idk, doesnt seem clear to me. K could have just as well been reaching for the marker and they mishandled it.
To be fair though, coincidentally I just finished Cals interview podcast with him and i came here to post how I really like coach K and how even though I hate losing to them that I am so impressed with him as a coach and mentor...
Not saying that slapping a pen out of anothet persons hands changes that but it does put another light on the man.
Truthfully though, weve all done stuff in anger that we've regretted later. This seems to be a small issue.
I think the first time it just dropped, and the second time it looks like he was trying to grab it in anger and it fell again. I doubt he was knocking it to the ground on purpose just to make him pick it up. And I'm somebody who would not hesitate to say so if I thought he did. Not a fan.
Pens and Officials he has the same opinion of both it seemsBoy do you guys have it all wrong. SMH. Coach K simply has a general hatred for pens! Exhibit B: (Damn near took off Wojo's leg in the process! I'll bet they had to drive the ambulance onto the court).

I cannot BELIEVE this man threw a pen on the floor in anger. He is a total piece of shit, they should kick him out of the NCAA permanently. Kudos to you hoop-sleuths breaking the case.

Remember the player he chastised last year after the other teamwon, he dnied it, then had to admit it.
