Mike Krzyzewski is the kind of person that if he were to visit a children's hospital. He would get one of his flunkies to alert the media first so that they would be there with their cameras so everyone could see what a kind, wonderful man that Krzyzewski is. If there's a bigger hypocrite in sports. I Hope I never see him.
Wow. That's disappointing, really. I've always liked K, but that is just an unnecessary act of elitism. Kid did nothing but drop the marker as he was handing it off.

Clearly there was a killer bee on the pen and Coach K was sacrificing himself to protect the guy.
If he was a straight up Bobby Knight type jerk that was who he was and everybody knew it, it wouldn't even bother me so much. But the worst part for me is how he somehow convinces every recruit's mom that he is the most loyal, kind, caring individual in sports. The man is more two-faced than Harvey Dent.

It's a student manager. They're at the bottom of the totem pole and easy targets. Takes a person with serious character defects to go after the weakest/easiest target in moments of stress.
Maybe you're one of those types of people and that's why it sits well with you.

In defense of K, that was likely an ass grab that went awry.

Student managers know what they sign up for. Is it something that reflects well on K? No, but I'm sure the manager will survive and I'm sure K has done worse to managers and most coaches probably have. I just didn't find it something to get all fired up about. Maybe you can go start a change.org petition asking K to apologize or a GoFundMe campaign to pay for the managers therapy and a safe place in Cameron for him to go when K yells at him.

I think the first time it just dropped, and the second time it looks like he was trying to grab it in anger and it fell again. I doubt he was knocking it to the ground on purpose just to make him pick it up. And I'm somebody who would not hesitate to say so if I thought he did. Not a fan.

lol K is truly the biggest phony in all of sports. Bobby Bowden level phony . He and his mentor Bobby KNight have alot in common but K is smart enough not to show his true colors to most ( and he doesn't hit people so he is better then Knight).

I cannot BELIEVE this man threw a pen on the floor in anger. He is a total piece of shit, they should kick him out of the NCAA permanently. Kudos to you hoop-sleuths breaking the case.

The video posted is blurry so I don't blame anyone for not noticing, but the posted description of what happened is not exactly what really happened. After calling a timeout, a manager attempted to give Coach K his marker and white board. Coach K fumbled the hand off and the mangager picked up the marker to give it back to K. Coach K did not hit the marker out of the managers hand to pick it up again. He actually slapped the white board out of the kids hand and made him pick that up, which to me is worse.
No but the media should permanently kick him off that moral pedestal that they constantly try to place him on. That more than anything else is why people make a big deal about these things in regards to K.
Remember the player he chastised last year after the other teamwon, he dnied it, then had to admit it.
Or Gerald Henderson laying the People's Elbow to Tyler Hansbrough's grill. You know he had the go ahead to do that.
