Coach Kenny Brooks is about to take the UK women's program to heights we've never seen before

Sooner or later Brooks will get us to multiple Final Fours. In the last week he beat #18 Louisville, our 1st win over them in years. He's got commitments from 2, 5-Star recruits 6'3" Kaelyn Carroll a 2025 recruit & point guard Maddyn Greenway from the 2026 class. Brooks over Kara Elzy is the biggest coaching upgrade sports at UK has ever seen. We're pretty hard on Mitch Barnhart at times, but hiring Kenny Brooks was a Homerun hire.

Yeah our basketball programs right now are headed in fantastic directions with the Pope and Brooks hires. Exciting times for UK hoops

Again, if we can just get Sumrall for football, we'd have the 3 major sports on a serious uptick for the next decade. Do it Mitch you coward. Time to run Stoops. Just look at the basketball programs for the example as to why.

We had a couple shots back in Matt Mitchell’s tenure but ended up in same bracket with UConn n got beat in Elite 8’s….

Because mens basketball has a history of high standards. It's not really difficult to see the apples and oranges Jeff. 8 national titles and 17 final fours.

Football has 1 questionable 1951 sagarin narional title awarded 40 years later and I think 2 sec titles with 0 n the last 47 years and counting. The sec is a juggernaut and UK is 15th of 16 teams n NIL mercenary salary spending. You can fantasize all you want and pony up and spend money all you want on NIL. Won't matter IMO.
