Coach K Post Game Press Conference

Now that's rare. We never see fans from other teams like our players, coaches or fans. It's much easier to hate us.
Absolutely love college basketball and watching as many talented players as possible. While I'm insanely biased towards Duke, I can appreciate an excellent player, especially when he puts on an absolute show. Even against Duke. I'll definitely have my eye on Ulis going forward.

I wasn't overly impressed with Ingram, I thought Matt Jones played real well and hit a lot of shots, kept wondering why we weren't looking for him a little more plus we made Plumlee look like David Robinson who was the first person I saw when entering the arena. I sat in the middle of a bunch of fellow UK fans with two Dukies in our midst and we had a blast, the Dukies weren't very friendly and didn t seem to enjoy the show.

I will add that the Duke fans that were staying in the same hotel as us congratulated us on our victory and everyone of them that we bumped into mentioned how they really wanted to play us in the Championship last year, I told them no more than we wanted to play y'all.

I hate Duke as a team with a passion. However I really respect coach K. As far as the teaching his kids to flop that is the fault of the NCAA or the refs who have allowed them to do it. He would be crazy not to take advantage of the allowance he was given. Just like Cal takes full advantage of One and Done Coach K takes advantage of the refs. All they have to do is not make the calls that they do and follow the rules and Duke wouldn't receive those benefits. If you want to be mad at someone for the flopping, be mad at the NCAA and the Refs who allow this.

Couldn't disagree more. The more you teach your guys to focus on that kind of play the more you teach them to be pussies and put them in a bad position to actually score or make a play. duke players go out of their way to draw fouls and when they aren't called they put themselves in a position of not making the shot. JUST FUC**ING PLAY BASKETBALL THE RIGHT WAY.
that clear enough?

I have yet to see a ref call a T on a player that flopped. That needs to happen.
Besides that, I don't understand how these refs can't tell the difference between an acting job and the real thing. It looks so obvious to me.

it worked like a charm Tuesday night. Half of UK's team was in serious foul trouble all game long. Nobody on Duke's squad had a lick of foul trouble. There is no way there should have been that much of a disparity. No way.

Fair enough, you have a right to your opinion. However I wasn't saying that I agree with his tactic, only that he is taking advantage of a situation that is allowed. He owes it to his employer to produce at the highest possible rate and if the governing authorities allow him to proceed with a course of action that is against the rules time and time again, he would be a fool to not take advantage.

Again it is ultimately the Refs/NCAA fault because they don't call the T's and they call fouls for those flops on the other team. Correcting their ineptitude would go a long way in preventing Duke from teaching their kids to flop. Otherwise it is a good tactic on Coach K's part.
