Jones , MKG, and Teague were all very physical

Miller had good size too

The only muscle we had in 12 was Jones. And he preferred finesse

jones was 250lbs. We don’t have anyone his size. Teague was a built guard and played like a pit bull. MKG had a good build and was over 200lbs (much thicker than Edwards). Miller was well over 200lbs. He had some strength to him too

Love the style they have played so far in Canada. Dickinson would have hurt that IMO.

However, it is good we got Tre Mitchell. So we lucked out in Hunter not coming and Bob Huggins not being able to stop drinking.

We’ve often looked free and took a lot of 3’s in these preseason games. Maybe it will stick this year.

Every time we take one of these summer trips, our fans immediately vastly overrate what it tells us about the team.

I remember when we took that Bahamas trip a few years ago, folks here were absolutely giddy excited by what they saw and what an unbeatable juggernaut it showed we’d be. That talk then abruptly ended when Duke massacred us by 44 points in the first game of the real season.

These laid back, relaxed-defense summer exhibitions are just for fun. They don’t really tell you all that much about how you’ll do when things get serious. I think we might need a larger sample size than just a couple summer exhibitions before we officially “close the Dickinson debate.”
