I was really impressed with him. I guess I wasn't paying attention, wasn't sure who he was. I don't think we showed a lot but King looked all right and # 31 on Defense. Tight end was hard to bring down. Sorry don't have names but didn't bring roster back

He was impressive. Having a whole semester jump on his class is a big deal in my mind. Looks like a player from day one. Any word on a possible redshirt or is he too talented for that?
JMO, but I doubt he RS's barring a summer camp injury, which none of us would want to see happen anyway. The kid looks like he'll be ready to play by the time the season starts. I can see him passing quite a few other WRs on the depth chart.

Definitely agree!! I was pleasantly surprised that he held up to the reports in practice we have been receiving. I have a feeling he will be one of our favorites down the line.

I really like what we have at the slot receiver positions. We have the two Seniors, Johnson and Walker. I thought Walker looked really good in the game also and Johnson is a proven commodity. Hopefully he can play a little more consistent and have a monster senior year. Thomas definitely did some good things last night and it sounds like Bowden will get some snaps in the slot as well as other spots on offense. I was also impressed with both the walk-on slot receivers, Bouvier and Kendall. Both did an excellent job of getting open and made both the routine and tough catches.

Thanks for what you have posted, every little bit helps.

I agree with your post but we have a third senior that I thought looked good, the much maligned one, and he would have had another very long completion if the pass hadn't been badly underthrown.

He and Bowden are excellent additions to the team and will play lots this fall.

There are only so many snaps available for a slot receiver and the likely pecking order is:
G Johnson
C Walker
L Bowden
C Thomas

If he doesn't red shirt, he may have to grab some snaps at the outside positions.

I was only referring to the slot receivers in my original post but i agree with your assessment completely. I look for Baker to have a monster Senior season. I also hope Bone steps up and puts it all together and becomes a solid contributor for his Senior season also..

OP, Dont you know that the protocol for this forum is to post random roster guy's name with AT LEAST 2 Exclamation marks in the thread title?!?!?

Jeesh.

Although he may be ahead of bowden in the slot just because of early arrival and Polish. Bowden may get his touches on ko, punt, and Wildcat situations. Next year all these guys need to be ready though... wherever they can get some snaps.

So Thomas is Polish?? Must hail from Gdansk, Florida.
