If Natty would have signed with AEW she would have hot shotted in a title match and then disappeared.

There’s a podcast I love called ‘how did this get made’ that reviews bad movies. When they did ‘Ernest goes to jail’ one of the hosts said she thought the evil Jim Varney in that movie is ‘hot as f^*%’.

I hate triple threat title matches at the big 4 PLE especially WM - just feels like an easy out…triple threats are fine for non-major PLE.

From 2020 to 2023, Edge wrestled 26 matches in WWE, winning 18 of them. The only person he was pinned by more than once was Roman Reigns. Otherwise, he:
- didn't put over Randy Orton
- didn't put over Seth Rollins
- didn't put over The Miz
- didn't put over AJ Styles
- didn't put over anyone in Judgment Day
- didn't put over Sheamus in his last match
In AEW, he has wrestled in 28 matches, losing only five times. The only person to pin him and get a decisive win over him is his best friend, Christian—and even then, they’re tied 2-2 in AEW.
This man is 51 years old. He's not wrestling to help the next generation, he's helping himself.

I wish triple threats were by default elimination matches. The way it’s always done now is lazy booking.
If you’ve done a good job booking the individual talent and they are able to believably compete for a title on a PPV/PLE, then you have three or more people who should be able to eat a pin without suffering from it.
If you can reasonably say “X shouldn’t be taking a pin in this match” then don’t book them in a triple threat to protect them. Build them up better and put them in a story where when it comes to match time you can say “they’ll be perfectly fine even if they lose this match.”
Do you think Vince or HHH made the decision who won those matches? Do think Tony Khan made those decisions in AEW? Tony has made it very clear he owns booking.
He is a mark. He is going to book these WWE "stars" to the moon especially if he is blowing a lot of money on them.
What does that make Vince?

Like in WWE, people like Punk, Cody, Rollins, Rhea can afford to lose any match they are in. In AEW, Swerve, Hangman, Ospreay, Toni can afford to lose any damn match they are in. They are going to be perpetually over no matter what. You can put them in a world title match at any point in time and they would be believable as a champ. It may not make sense in story, but they would be a believable champ.
Every booker has favorites that are going to get booked better than they should. And also people they have a bias against that are going to get booked worse than they should.
Like HHH booking DIY and MCMG very strongly when they are on the older side and no one gives a **** about them.

So what the hell is WWE’s plans for Drew the rest of this year? Only thing I can think of is he’s the one who will take the belt off Uso after he beats Gunther, but it’s just odd that he’s been pinned about 5 matches in a row by being rolled up. They’re wasting one of the best they have right now and he will probably be stuck losing to Priest at WM.

No. Completely ridiculous accusation. AEW even goes to great lengths to prevent people potentially seeing WWE talent at their shows.
Bailey and Naomi even publicly posted video of them showing up to Boston for Mercedes’ AEW debut and didn’t get punished. Though I’m not sure if Naomi was with WWE yet, can’t remember when she popped back up there.
NXT, the developmental brand, just put their mid card title on 44-year-old Shawn Spears lol.
If Chris Daniels repeatedly punches himself in the skull tonight like he did last week, I may watch.
