I can see why you have to turn you brain off to watch anything longer than five minutes, your head would probably explode from having to use your brain.AEW is a lot more enjoyable once you realise they’re not a serious wrestling company.
I’ve recently stopped taking AEW seriously and the shows & PPV’s are a lot more enjoyable, you need to watch them like you watch movies and just switch your brain off for a few hours to get a more enjoyable experience.
Most fans know you don’t exactly require a brain to follow along with AEW, so if you want to tune in one week, you’ll have a blast. They don’t do long-term story telling which is great for casual viewers who want to check it out. They can tune in and catch some 5 star banger matches and have fun and then forget about it the next day.
Hell, Edge said it himself in an interview last year, “we don’t take ourselves too seriously here, we’re here to have fun.” Because that’s what AEW is, and there’s nothing wrong with it. It’s about having fun.
It’s like going to the circus, you go there for a few laughs and have a good time watching people goof around.
Once you stop taking AEW seriously, your experience will become a whole lot better.
