NXT wins again. Hickenbottom for Booker of the Year.
We know the problems with AEW and we know it starts with Tony and that his creative teams can't handle the size of the roster he's built. And we know he'll never take a step back and that things will probably get worse in 2025. That's what Bischoff likely meant when he said there's no hope for AEW. It's not predicting their death, it's looking at everything currently going on and not seeing much to be positive about as trends point downward.

I’ve got a 2002 Undisputed title belt that’s signed by Bret Hart, Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio, and Cornette if anyone is interested in getting a Christmas gift for someone or for yourself? Was going to put it on marketplace but figured I’d drop it here first (Lexington located).

BKH used to a big Bret fan but haven’t seen him on here in years.
I’m the biggest Bret mark by a mile. BKH was a big Rey Mysterio guy IIRC (if this doesn’t get him out of hiding, nothing will)
Im not sure what happened to it but I used to have a picture of Dan Issel that was signed by Jared Carter
My home office has a shelf with the bottom half being all wrestling Funko Pops. I'm a sucker for those but has to be ones that I like; not just any of them.
You all know I'm about the most positive person (other than the guy who doesn't post anymore) about AEW. The stuff with Toni Storm might be the dumbest thing ever. Have her return, then put her in a random match with no explanation or build on a show that only has three episodes left and no one watches, is a prime example of why ratings are what they are.
By the way Dynamite was up slightly from last week.
Anyway Bischoff mentioned on his show that Bully Ray should take over booking AEW. They did Master's Class about it on Busted Open and it was one a really good listen. It will never happen but interesting nonetheless.

Mariah May has slammed Mercedes Moné for having her own locker room and not taking time out to talk with other AEW female stars. Speaking with Renee Paquette, Mariah said:
"I don't care, honestly, half the time I don't know she's stepped in here because, I don't know if you know this, but she has her own locker room, so she says she's here to help and she cares so much, so come into our tiny little locker room and help us, teach us, share your knowledge from all these years of experience you've apparently had."

Steamboat is the most underrated wrestler in the history of the business. The second most underrated wrestler? You guessed it: Jerry Lawler.
No idea how much of this is true or not, but Drew is doing amazing work in 2024. Guy truly deserves another title run, whether it be as a heel, tweener, or an Austin-like face.

Yup she was never getting the mid card belt - that’s going to Chelsea Green - it’s more about her breaking away from Candice and Nia and cashing in and turning face.

Predictable but I don't see WWE rocking the boat on NBC on a Saturday Night when the Netflix Era is nearly upon us. They'll save all the crazy shit for 1/6 and beyond. Next year though I think Finn becomes champion, as does Owens and Iyo.

Surprised Iyo had a couple botches during that match.
Gunther is so good his style is so unique in the modern wrestling era but he’s still fun to watch and his promos have gotten a lot better.
Joe has been great tonight - for a newbie he’s improved a ton since he debuted.
