I don't hate her and to be honest I generally skip through any women's match because I just don't find them entertaining. It isn't because I am sexist because I skip a lot of men's wrestlers that I don't find entertaining like AOP, Omos, The Acclaimed or Orange Cassidy.I don’t know if there’s anything there with Baker or not.
I understand everyone here hates Mercedes, but she worked her ass off trying to carry Britt. Like on the destroyer spot that she basically had to do by herself because Britt basically stopped all the momentum. And she took an amazing bump on the stomp by Baker. But one person can only do so much by themselves.
That match would have been at home on rampage, lol.
Rip Sid.
I respect her and Naomi for betting on themselves. Wrestling outfits have taken advantage of the workers for decades and decades now. She bet on herself and won. I wish more talent would do that. WWE and AEW have plenty of money. Appreciating the talent a little more would be great, IMHO.To be honest I don’t think everyone hates Sasha it’s just the combination of walking out on wwe/giving herself creative control/acting like she’s an A list celebrity leaves a bad taste in people’s mouth and makes her unlikeable to most fans. Also two or three of those I listed above are big reasons why old school fans aren’t in her corner.
At least Naomi has made amends for walking out and was humble enough to fix her part of the situation.
I disagree with some of that but I generally get your point b/c it’s not like because of WWE she didn’t get into Hollywood acting like cena/batista/rock among others. Kind of like pro athletes making money off shoe deals etc. Not everyone can bet on themselves but a few can. Its not like Sasha is the first or last wrestler to quit on a company it’s just the way she handled it.I respect her and Naomi for betting on themselves. Undertaker finally shut his casket closed for goodRip Sid.
That could certainly be the case about heading back to WWE.I disagree with some of that but I generally get your point b/c it’s not like because of WWE she didn’t get into Hollywood acting like cena/batista/rock among others. I think punk and her are on the same trajectory - they bet on themselves and did their song and dance but will end up back in wwe.
Yup didn’t they have a time in wwf when he had the jobbers carried off on a stretcher?
Sid used to kill jobbers. I held off the obligatory leg break gif.
Swerve’s promos are incredible.Does Mox write his own promos - that was terrible.
Meanwhile Swerve’s promos are awesome.
She’s not good.
They could have maybe done that but instead they ended the show with Marina Shafir and then Jack Perry.A friend texted and asked if Mox’s promo about “it’s not your company anymore” meant that maybe Shane O’Mac might be making an appearance. God, I hope not.
It's almost like someone who doesn't know what they are doing is running the show. 🤷♂️Dynamite was very meh to me. Moxley looked like he’s been on a meth binge and just landed a job at a Sears as part of the conditions of his probation.
The Mone segment was pure trash. Nice party. There are 4 people there.
I don’t understand why the baked potato with arms and legs (Ishiiiiiiiiiiii) keeps getting on TV to have boring matches with 6 minutes minimum of no selling and standing strikes.
Swerve/Page in a cage sounds promising. I could give a shit less about MJF/Dick shakin’ Danny
Fletcher’s recent momentum instantly killed to put over the new toy in Ricochet.
Perry/Danielson - big meh. It’s almost like Perry is being forced upon us like Vince tried to shove babyface Reigns down our throats for years. Sorry, Tony, I don’t buy Perry as some kind of badass ass kicker. I feel like he’d probably lose a real fight against 70 percent of the audience and 95 percent of the locker room.
Lastly, having All Out two weeks after All In is just idiocy. Imagine trying to build an entire card in two weeks and have it not feel rushed and thrown together.
I think he’s booking how he wants to book, but it only appeals to a certain segment of fans. I was one of the lapsed fans who came back at the start of AEW and enjoyed it for the first 2.5 years, but as time went on my interest fell off. It's almost like someone who doesn't know what they are doing is running the show. 🤷♂️
“I’m gonna talk about poopin on that girl with John, Pal!”
Will be interesting to see how whitewashed it is since Netflix is in bed with WWE nowThe Vince documentary Netflix made is coming next month
