Exactly. Alabama and Penn State have reasons to flaunt their tradition. We don't. Keep in mind that even though we do have a similar reason to go traditional in basketball we still do things to cater more to the 18 year olds. Personally I can't understand anyone that doesn't think the chrome look awesome. Especially at night. The chrome helms at night with the stadium lights reflected on the is great. We should use chrome helms as many night games as we can.

Actually, whyNot bbn, I am a traditionalist and take great pride in that, but unlike most, I could care less what they wear. I just find humor in a bunch of people who believe the color of uniforms kids wear or the color fans wear make ANY DIFFERENCE in how the team plays. Also, anyone with any sense knows how this will play out. The chrome/new uniforms will be rolled out against Auburn and the all blacks will come out against UT on Halloween.
