CFP championship game ticket prices plummeting

What moron decided to put the College Football Championship game in California? There are certain areas of the country where college sports are of little interest to the majority of the local population. California is one as is New York. Both are very expensive but California is also very remote and you have to have a lot of extra spending money to make a trip out there for a ball game. With 40 million population one would expect the locals can fill up the stadium and they might have to do it this year. With ticket prices so low there is no excuse not to.

California has some very nice places to visit but you would want to spend more than a day or two. Catching a plane, going to a game and catching a plane back to the East is not something an average fan can do. Now if you make it a week or two vacation with the game squeezed in that makes sense.
