THrowing gets tricky down there. Because usually a D sends the house. Not a lot of time to throw. Guess they felt their freshman wasn't ready.
Tbf, they looked crappy on the last two drives until that stand.

Stoops will have a ton of film to show the guys. Mistake after mistake. Good to have a game with many mistakes and be up almost by the spread.
Good news is the penalties are fixable and the offense's problems will resolve themselves with more practice and with Burton getting more experience snapping the ball. Lining up and low snaps are coachable.
Can't do anything about horse shit refs taking away scoops and scores and interceptions, but it is what it is.
Coming out of a stoppage and our offense trips over their own dicks. Sad.

Not much to be over excited about, Ball State isn’t very good and is matching us stat wise - they’ve given us 14 points and have passed on us at will - if we don’t go 5-0, it could get ugly this year.
This is how we start practically every season.
Another 3rd and long conversion. That kind of crap will sink us in conference play.
