Cason & Oscar make PRO debuts today

Not worried about Cason. He's guaranteed.

So, Ill probably do the honey-do list and finish the day watching Oscar get some run.
The experts have questioned his professional ability since we’ve known him …but we know he’s got heart …definitely worth a look to see how he fares at the next level .

Cason had 15 at the half? Nice.
Might as well bring this up now …but I live in Central Florida …am a lowly Magic fan lol …we debated for the longest as the draft neared …Anthony Black or Wallace ? …I tried to tell them you can’t go wrong with a UK guard …but because Black was rated higher that’s who they went with …I told them that I only saw Black play two games and that was against UK …first game they beat us but Cason was the better player …second game Wallace didn’t even dress but that was the game Reeves played PG and went for 37 …I told them in the two games we played I honestly didn’t notice him that much …not sure what the rest of you think …

Yeah while I don't think Black is a bad player by any stretch I fail to see why he had such an upside or projects to be such a good player. I just don't see it personally. I'm also surprised Wallace went so high. While I like Cason, he was just steady. I can't project him to be anything but journeyman level in most areas, but he is a complete player with good to very good ratings for almost every aspect but nothing that is transcendent.

I think they are both nice catches.

Go back and watch that Black vs. Cason matchup in Rupp lol, I think you are misremembering. I think Cason was playing hurt though, I think he’ll be really good!

Cason Wallace will be a top 5-10 two-way player within 5-6 seasons. He's going to be an excellent shooter and a terrific defender. He's just not very flashy about his abilities so you kind of downplay what he can do. Hopefully the NBA brings him out of it a little, but not too much. Stay true to who you are as a player as much as you can.

Wallace plays a lot like J. Murray especially when he does that little stop and pop jumper, Murray has perfected it tho.

This Pacers game is brick city garbage. Jackson seems to be playing well and Tshiebwe has played a few minutes.

No wonder Oscar left. He’s 27 years old!

I’m pulling for Oscar as we all are …but all the stuff about his defensive deficiencies that were highlighted by the experts …I saw some of it on display in his limited minutes …specifically on switches when he was on an island by himself with quicker people

Tried to tell the one guy who mocked me for saying he's closer to 30 than he is 25 when talking about him during the year and he'll turn 28 in November. If I don't know something, I'll tell you, but when I get good info and can share it, I don't back down and share it often. Just a matter if you want to believe or not.

That and even on the dunk-he has no explosion and barely scraped over the rim.

Do not know if accurate, but they corrected his age to be 23, per the announcers. Kentucky roster showed his birthdate as 11/27/99, fwiw.

Cason had to play out of position last season when Wheeler quit on the team, Cason wasn’t a point guard, it killed his scoring ability when he had to start running the point! He will prosper playing on the wing in the League!

Oscar in 8 minutes had 5 points and 2 rebounds. I didn't watch the game so can't comment there but not enough PT to really say much.

Here’s the box
I was in the 5th row, I remember it well, Black picked him clean to start the second half. I bet Wallace made several when it out of hand. Again, Wallace is gonna be nice in the league, maybe better than Black, but Black was tough that game.

27 is closer to 25 than it is 30.

I do not know how accurate and useful the +/- metric is, but OT had a -4 and it was the only negative for the Pacers.

Jrue Holiday.

Let’s argue. Oscar is 23, not 27.

You are usually more knowledgeable than this. This is like a kindergarten mistake tho.

Don't blame Wheeler quitting on Wheeler. Wheeler quitting was on Cal.

We had one idiot on here, don't remember who ( there are so many ) that argued with me what a great defensive player he is!

Depends on whether the person is past the halfway point of their 27th year. One day past that and they are closer to 30. Which, if Oscar's birthday is in November, he is over the halfway point which puts him closer to 30. It's not like he can go backwards either. So, in truth, the day he turns 26, he is a lot closer to being 30 than he ever will be to being 25 again.

Don't be so afraid of using common sense and a little math. That way you won't look so ignorant!

Based on? Let me guess.... something you read, right?

Considering I don’t know him personally, then yes. But I didn’t even have to look it up to know he’s not that old. Google can be some of the less knowledgeable’s best friend. You should try it out.

So, just because you read it on the internet, it must be true?

You do know people lie, right? Particularly about their ages.

Have you seen a copy of his birth certificate? Spoken to anyone who can confirm his age? Have any actual evidence of him being the exact age reported?

I don’t. Does the NBA??? 😁 Exactly, sit down.

I can provide his birthday with 5-6 sources. Please share one article that says he’s 27. Not a typo on a tv screen, an actual source??? I’ll wait and you’ll continue to make a moron out of yourself.. lol
