From personal experience, not being able to stand up or sit down suggests back issues, but not sure. Guy played fine tonight. Who knows.
“Can’t sit down during timeouts” always means back issues.
Same reason Larry Bird had to lie face first on the floor whenever he came out in the final couple seasons of his career. His back was too damaged for chair sitting …yet he somehow still played.

Pope said he didn’t practice. Hopefully, he will fully recover soon. The fact he actually played shows his great character.
Same, which is a bit of concern. I have learned if my back is pissed and I am crooked it wouldn’t be wise to ball until it get sorted out. Hopefully he gets some good therapy.

I’ve wished game after game he would just be more physical and dunk the ball when he is right at the rim but after hearing this tonight on the game I’m sure this is the reason he takes it easy around the basket so to speak. He seems to be a super nice guy and I figured he just couldn’t flip the switch but hoping he gets this lined out not just for this season but for his career and life.
Yeah it’s back issues. One of the TV commentators during the game mentioned he was having back spasms.
