Ferguson decommits. OK, good luck to the young man. But, he tweeted something positive just 2 days ago! What happened? Frankly, I don't care. So tired of prima donna HS (and portal) kids not living up to their commitment and acting like wherever they choose to play is slated for CFP playoffs from Day 1. Get over yourself. Every single player relies on the other 10 to do their job on every play. Otherwise, the play will be wholly unsuccessful and, with enough unsuccessful plays, the whole team will lose. Absolutely no guarantees that the highest rated 5* HS kid will be anything at the next level. Could be injury, lack of discipline, quit developing, bad scheme for the skillset and any number of other factors that might arise. All this 'will he, won't he' stuff is exhausting. And, it doesn't stop at recruiting HS players as we all know. It's also at the end of the season for current players and their decision to transfer or not. Just tired of the whole mess. Getting pretty fed up with the CFB scene and how it's barely different from the NFL except the level of play is much worse.

Sorry for the rant. If UK were 7-2, I'd almost assuredly feel differently. But, the constant flux of who's in/who's out distracts from the beauty of the sport and its traditions.

Would you want to play for a HC that really doesn't want a passing offense but would rather stay in the 80s playing 3 yards and a cloud of dust. We have no Offensive line nor much of a QB that can deliver the ball to him. When your offense averages 16 pts a game, it's hard to attract quality offensive weapons to come play for a dinosaur

Then why commit in the first place?

This is how it is in NIL era.

I agree with the other poster I'd never come here if I was a WR. Stoops teams aren't offensively talented in the passing game most of the time.

Commit to a school saves you a place in line in case something happens. Injuries, maybe you suck, maybe other circumstances, committing early holds you a place in the line. He was never coming here. LSU, Texas or A & M, forget about him.
