Let's face it. We, or more specifically Cal's product, aren't special anymore. How does it feel?
I have said for a while now he is not a good X & O coach and like most I am tired of his excuses. He is so full of himself.

I am not to twisted about his latest comments, what's he supposed to say " We suck". He is trying to prop up what seems to me a very fragile bunch, at least he didn't throw Oscar under the bus again.
He could have done the right thing and thrown himself under the bus. No, he would see $$ going under the bus. Can't have that.

I don’t enjoy losing to every good team we play. I’m sorry but I stopped watching the Gonzaga game five minutes in because I could tell already we would lose and had no shot to win. It was that clear.

We can’t play Collins or Livingston unless he wants to abandon a half court game - they are not skilled enough to play half court
Ware can’t play offense so he doesn’t need to be guarded
Teams just don’t guard Wheeler because his jumper is broke ( All Ass in jumper)
Toppin still can’t dribble to get to where he wants

1st sign of a rival fan: relentless basher that posts NOTHING positive EVER and is nowhere to be found during or after and wins yet claims to give to the University.
This right here he needs to shut up and start producing every time he opens his mouth he digs the hole deeper! I just know though that his producing days at the University of Kentucky are long gone! He’s had the best experience teams between last year and this year that he’s ever had here and he can’t seem to beat a team with a pulse. The guy flat out can’t coach and he doesn’t give 2 shits about the University of Kentucky and all of the BBN!
My problem isn’t whether we win or lose. It’s that we are never prepared for the big stage. When was the last time we won a big time, meaningful game? When was the last time you were confident we’d win it going into it? I’m more confident Cal Will screw it up with scheme, rotations, mismanagement of clock or timeouts than I am that we will compete and win. That’s a terrible place to be in as a fan… but that’s who we are now.
Lack of Coaching is the real reason

Let's say next year, we do have such overwhelming talent that the team runs through the year and ends up at 31 and 3 for the tournament. We get to the elite eight and barring a miracle we're going to run into a coach that can stop whatever we're doing. Even if the hero gets past that stage, he'll lose in the final four. Getting a huge amount of talent and winning is the only chance we have. I'm not saying cal can't win but it's going to take a lot of talent. See 2012.

I know what fox2monk was doing. I was just pointing out that if cow gets enough talent that he's not even bad enough to mess it up. But that means a whole lot of talent.
He’ll fvck it up, guaranteed. His track record proves it. Even if he doesn’t, they won’t allow him to win it. That’s a whole other reason I wish he would just move on. He’s universally disliked.
I don't like the direction of college sports is taking now, but I'll wait to see how our season plays out before I make an opinionated assessment at this time.
Do not think next year’s class is the overwhelming talent many think it will be. All of these guys are skinny and are not exactly putting other high school players in the basket.
Be prepared for taking some lumps next year.
It would help if Cal didn’t just shrug his shoulders and act like it's not a big deal.
Honestly, he should be pissed after losses like these where we look bad, especially after the last 2 seasons.

Actually, I think Cal is one of the very few coaches that feeds the media bullshit and uses the media to screw with the fanbase.
I don't know of any other coaches that go on weird tangents about things that weren't even part of the question either.
The guy is a first class clown.
Mike Leach comes to mind, but he is better at it than Cal.

Yeah, I'm not sure why so many are thinking next years team is going to be some great 2009/10-ish type squad. There's no Wall, AD, Randle, Fox or Towns.
I'm amazed at how often so many keep falling for the hype. 2 weeks in, after a few losses, they'll be talking about how all those players were seriously overrated.
Cal certainly isn't going to get a bunch of freshmen prepared to play by the start of the season. Heck, he’s making "not ready" excuses right now and he has 5 seniors plus had the Bahamas tour advantage.

I just know from playing fantasy sports I have been fed so much bullshit from coaches I don’t take what any of them say serious .
Unfortunately, he said that during his postgame interview. Like a dog chasing a bone, Cal knows that his fans will chase after whatever he projectile vomits out.
I think folks would not care if this quote (if real) wasn't one in a long line of absurd statements from Cal.
I honestly shouldn’t be surprised over anything he says at this point. But, one of Calipari’s strengths is his marketing acumen. He can’t believe what he’s saying now makes him or his team look good?
Most people don't care about the ramblings of a fool as long as it doesn't impact their lives or the people/things that they care about.
