Caleb Wilson will not be visiting Arkansas as scheduled

Calipari's going to find it a bit harder to recruit at Arkansas than it was at Kentucky.
I’m not so sure about that. He will get his. The problem I have that no one is talking about is his shift in his NIL stance.
At Kentucky, he always said if a kids first question was about how much he didn’t want him. Kentucky wasn’t about that.
At Arkansas now he is throwing out there he has 9 million to spend. No one will out spend us. We are only carrying 8 on our roster so we can pay everyone more.
Complete shift. He will get top talent, that will be the guys that are coming for the cash only. I don’t want those guys.

Hasn’t Pipe beat him for a few recruits already and Caleb would make another one? Cal has to throw more money at the problem because he isn’t at UK. It’ll be interesting to see his adjustments once everyone has scouted his team. Put me in the column of being happy he is gone. I’ll miss the uber athletic guys but man do I love to watch a team of high IQ players fight for the name on the front.

I agree that Cal will still recruit well. Look at how he did at Memphis, same thing. Cal is butthurt at the moment, so changing his NIL philosophy will be easy for him. One of his big motivators is showing the UK fans, the Crafts, and Barnhart the middle finger by beating us. His ego doesn't believe his UK ending was his fault. It will be a great accomplishment for pope to steadily build his program and avoid the many distractions around him.

Eric Musselman had a #2 class with three 5-stars at Arkansas. Not sure why anyone would think it would be difficult for Cal to recruit there. Of course just about anywhere is harder than Kentucky.

Heck, Oats is a recruiting machine at Alabama and they’re no where close to being as much of a basketball school as Arkansas is traditionally.

We used to argue amongst each other which was more important: talent or experience. Then we learned that you can have both, in spades, and it don’t mean a damn thing if you ain’t got a coach.

Is this guy legit? He seems confident.
As far as I can tell, he's one of the "expert" accounts that either parasitizes Trilly or just throws out wild guesses. Part of the cohort that popped up around the time Pope was hired and the immediate aftermath when we had no idea who UK was going after in the portal. I actually have him muted on Twitter because I got tired of it.

He might know something, but if he didn't get it from some other source that's actually in the know (behind a paywall), he's talking out his ass.

Yeah it’s funny how he couldn’t listen to the Bennies. Now he wants to do everything that we asked except you know have a full roster and still dribble drive around.

I honestly think Musselman was a better coach. I would have gladly traded Cal for Musselman over the last 5 years.
