You're right. But the point you're missing is - you can't just listen to what Cal says. You have to look at what he does.

If he has ten that need playing time, they'll get it. It might not be 50/50. He may not call it a platoon. But they'll all get what they need to get to the next level.

So he will do everything the platoon did, except he won't call it the platoon because some subs may be staggered

Oh yeah, definitely. Completely agree there. I doubt we see any 5 for 5 subs this year because I think he's afraid people will call it a platoon. He may have platoon squads but he'll never use the term or sub like that, IMO, in the true form of what a platoon is anyway. But I get what you're saying for sure.
