Now he is known for the None and Done.

Simply hard to fathom how far he has fallen. To the point that he’s allowing 18 year olds and their handlers to hijack his program year after year (this is now 4 straight years of major team drama).

His roster management is as bad as his in game coaching and that is a recipe for the absolute dumpster fire of a program we have now.

Never thought we would become Indiana but here we are…and if we’re not careful we’ll be looking at decades without a title just like they are.

Cal hasn’t "fallen" anywhere.

Cal is on top of the world right now. Another elitist millionaire who keeps cashing big checks and doing HIS thing while being accountable to no one.

The UK basketball program is what has really fallen.....

Cal is laughing at UK and thumbing his arrogant nose at the UK fans as he skates to the bank.

There's a saying that's 100% accurate about any sports team or organization. Never is as great/awful as it seems. I believe that. Now here's what is a major issue and doesn't matter if it's Professional, College, High School, or Youth Sport level--chaos. You can't function with continued chaos surrounding your program/organization. Things good/bad happen, but chaotic and strange? That creates uneasiness and no sense of comfort. It's been this way for far too long and everyone who wants to see the team succeed is tired/worn down from it. Positive people. Negative fans. Everyone unites in being sick of that state and it's happening. Nobody can deny this.

Stability and reliability are important in success and sustaining success. It's past time where some answers are required and someone needs to lead this program. We all want the players/team to succeed but if you keep having this environment, it's never happening and can't sustain. Needs to be addressed and don't care how/who changes this for the better. This is absurdity.

This is typical nonsense from a Cal hater. We are nowhere near as low as Indiana. You talk about 18 year olds and the power they are utilizing. That is happening all over the college basketball world. Furthermore, the main person causing instability on this team this summer is Reeves. As you know, he is a senior.
He has bern jerking UK around, lying about his true intentions.
The roster management problems for the past few years have been caused by relying too much on the transfer portal. Cal has corrected that this summer. He could use a few experienced transfers. We don't need more.UK is in excellent shape. We will be fine. The hate Cal cult is trying to create panic with all of this doom-and-gloom nonsense.

Great post. You nailed it.

The last time I saw Calipari invigorated was before 2019 when he landed Hagans, Travis, and Montgomery in the late Spring and knew he was returning PJ.

People say Wisconsin broke him, and I think that's true; but it was Auburn and Pearl that shattered the remaining pieces. For Calipari, the Auburn game represented the fifth time in six straight years where Cal choked the game away when the game was still within reach with two minutes left or less.

He's a terrible in-game coach. Choked against UConn in 2011, UConn in 2014, Wisconsin in 2015, UNC in 2017, KSU in 2018, Auburn in 2019, St. Peter's in 2022, and KSU in 2023. All of those games were within reach with 2 minutes or less to play.

If you were local media, you'd be called out for this take. Stop disrespecting the man that was good at his job several years ago. He's on paid vacation.
