Yeah, elite freshmen and a couple of them super elite. How about this, Skal is a super skilled big, with feathery touch from 18 feet in. Not every big is Demarcus, KAT, Nerlens Noel, etc. Skal is a "normal" freshman. He will get drafted lottery based on his skill set alone. That is it. Mental toughness, strength, and the other stuff can be taught / added. Skal's touch and the skill set he possesses is rare, very rare. NBA gm's love that and know most 6'11 guys cant shoot away from the basket. They also know they can send him to the D-League and he can work on his weaknesses 24-7 instead of a few hours a week while trying to juggle classes, life as a teen ager from a foreign country, and basketball player. His mid range game is exactly what NBA gm's want in the new era hybrid stretch big who can shoot and pass.
Lets see, go back to school, listen to very uninformed, unforgiving, fans bash him because he is not Demarcus Cousins and is not scoring, rebounding, playing like THEY want him to for free.

Enter the draft, get drafted in the top 15, get paid guaranteed money for a rookie 3 year contract and get his family out of poverty. Be able to absolutely train non stop for his job (this at the end of the day, is his job / career) and not worry about school and all the other stuff that takes time from him being able to sharpen his skills all day every day. All while there will be little to no pressure on him, because the GM drafting him knows he will not contribute right away and will show patience.
Uh, give me what is behind curtain number 2 Johnny.
