A 64 % winning percentage shouldn’t be acceptable at UK in my opinion.

Since start of last year we are 29-20 in games vs. SEC and "marquee" OOC games. The sad thing is, included wins over Yale, St. Joseph, Penn and Louisville x 2. Take those out and focus only on biggest OOC games and SEC and we are 24-20.

Ah yeah, that does check out then. I'd love to see Cal's close game and overtime record since 2017. The funny thing is those used to be better than Pitino's despite Cal's worse reputation as a bench coach. But now I assume every close game is a loss, over half the time I don't even bother watching the end of close games. I've seen the script too many times.

Tubby would have dominated with Cals rosters. That was his biggest problem, he couldn’t recruit.
Don't even beat all the cupcakes anymore. Some really bad losses last few years. It's one think to lose to some of the top teams. But they been losing to some middling to down right awful teams.
I was saying the same thing earlier. These games used to be the fun games between high stress battles. The only question used to be “ how many do we win by, 20 or 40”.
I think the 75-44 number is a better indicator because thats the 9 win season up until now. and its 63% there. Cal has the worst 4 year record of any mens bball coach at UK now.
Just think how bad it would be without all of those JV wins. Our record against ranked teams the past 9 years is simply pathetic.
Who would have ever thought for every three UK games, on average we would win 2 and lose 1! 🤷♀️
