The college landscape has changed, but Calipari has not. He used to be on the leading edge.. he's not anymore.

We can complain about transfers, NIL, poaching, etc.. but those are the rules for everyone.. Gotta play the game and be a leader. No more excuses.

there were several players in the portal that could have replaced Oscar. The Ware kid from Oregon and the big kid from Utah Valley. Ware is at IU & the other is at Ciny. NO way UK should not have been able to compete with those teams for those players, as well as the 2 guys that went to UT. The problem is and has been since 2015, ccc.

You missed my point. Yes, Oscar could have been replaced by one of those guys, but they are not comparable (anywhere close to as good) to Oscar in any way, nor do I think they significantly better than the slim-pick'ins that's left. But with Reeves, there have been multiple guys his quality-level in the portal, where had we believed chances were good he not return that we replace him.
