Outside of the playoffs, have 2 teams from the same conference ever played in a bowl game? I sure don't remember it happening.

Vandy upset Auburn in the 1955 Gator Bowl, IIRC.
But that is the only example I can remember.

They just showed a graphic saying it was the 3rd time since 1978.
Colorado avoided the top three teams from that conference.
Colorado is ass. Can’t believe how much media has been devoted to this circus. Even a Heisman.

SO glad to see the Buffs get their ass handed to them. They have 2 really good individuals, a bunch of average, imo, portal transfers and a ton of hype. As another said, they somehow avoided the top 3 in that conference and ended up with a really good record. I was never that impressed with them and I wonder if they take a huge step back when they don't have 2 all-World talents. Prime has picked up some recruits so the cupboard will not be bare. But, having watched him closely these last two years, not sure he's much better than an adequate coach. Great personality/face of the program, talks a great game, etc. But, Xs and Os I don't believe he's all that strong. We'll see next year.
